RMIT Orientation

Guess some of you may want to know how's my orientation today right? I went for my sch-RMIT's orientation today. I got to know my seniors through my OGLs, Jane and Cecilia though both are younger than me by a year. My group was called Poison Ivy and there were 13 of us (4 girls and the rest guys). Firstly, it was breaking-the-ice to touring around SIM and then playing games. The games part was quite fun. The whole games section is under SPY Mission and we are supposed to complete the missions. The first game we played was called the Escape. There was to be 16 squares on the floor. Our OGL (Orientation Group Leader) chose the puzzle for our group. We are supposed to memorise the alphabets (from A-P) on the whiteboard as the floor is not written. We are supposed to guess what the answer for the puzzle is. There is a pattern on the squares which is the answer to the puzzle. So out of 10 steps, my group got 7 right steps.

The second game (I can't remember the name) but we are supposed to stand with our backs facing each other. Then the back person will be given a clue by the game station master relevant to movie titles. Then it'd be passed on by acting out what the clue is. With the help of my two OGLs, we managed to got it right so we scored 13 points-1 point for each person. The answer's The Powerpuff Girls. Then the next game was Mission Impossible. We have to work in pairs where one of the pair is supposed to be blindfolded and the other supposed to direct the blindfolded to overcome all the obstacles and get all the bean bag.

The fourth game is to pass around a card with our mouth to one another. I was sitting between two guys. I had to suck the card so it could stick to me mouth then pass on to the next person. Really disgusting game...But think going thru this orientation makes me want to join the RMIT Student Council. Seems like quite fun and interesting. U'll get to know more people. Can be in the events planning section or editorial section where we can get to do magazine. Then it was buffet lunch and then it is the last game called Undercover. A guy representative from the group is supposed to get dressed up to be a female. We have to dress them up as girly as possible to cover up their male identity. Damn funny to see the guys catwalk up the stage. All quite sporty people. In the end, my group got in third place in the Games.

So fast next Monday going to start my Uni life. Excited about it. I took the application form to work part-time in Music Junction Jurong Point so those living in Jurong area, next time can go MJ find me lor provided I get thru the interview. Tomorrow gotta go back to work liao. A little sian but bo bian. Gotta earn money still till 31st Dec...
