Yeap as promised, I'm gonna update on the event I attended yesterday. It is the only time I get to have and meetup so many dates at one time. Every 10 mins, the two guys will have to move to the next table. I arrived at 3.30pm sharp. And I saw a lady went in same time as me too. I was given a contact list after giving my name to the organiser. I found a seat just where I saw the lady was seated at. There were two guys who have already started chatting casually. The lady introduced herself as Stephanie. We were then given a name label to make our introductions more easily recognised. The guys then started chatting with us by introducing themselves too. They do not looked that old. However, when I stepped in that cafe, I looked around briefly and saw the guys and ladies were all of an older age compared to me. I was definitely the youngest there. The two guys I met for the first time was Jimmy and Mark. And they were one of the longest we have sat down and chat with as the event hasn't even started, we have already make small talk. Mark was seated beside me and I rem him as the APB guy as APB was one of our client before and potential one again. As for Jimmy, the teacher of Meridien JC who has a cute puppy too.
There were two or three more others whom I also remember. I rem there was this weird guy who doesn't smile during the whole conversation he was with people and he was a lecturer in NYP (or maybe it's RP) for Electronics Engineering. He was like there for the snacks and check out what kind of people he'll meet. There was a few more others who have left an impression (which I dun really mean in a good way at times). The least few of us stayed behind for dinner and I got to know the other 3 ladies who met one another thru such events. I think I am the only one who attended such events for the 1st time.
Well, after I got home, I got a MSN Add Request for one of the dates (Leslie) for the event yesterday. He was the first I got contacted after the event and after chatting a while to refresh my memory, I finally recall who he was. At least I got to know another Christian friend. I also left my namecard with Stephanie. She's a nice gal and matured gal too. We do not need to reveal one another's age anyway unless someone really asks. And just today, I got an email from someone I met too yesterday. Quite a long email too - a JC teacher too (not Jimmy though, haha, though it'd be good if I could be friends with Jimmy and Mark). Mark's quite funny and it'd be new to know a teacher who is also a dog lover. Of course, I dun mind having Leslie as a friend too. That was my aim in getting to know more Christians out there anyway.

Quick Updates
Thought I'll sneak a few mins to type a quick entry here about leaving this space here empty for some time.
Have been busy past week with tenders. Though busy with the tenders and new role, I feel myself getting more involved in the project at tender stage. I am beginning to enjoy this new job scope which is much more challenging compared to being an administrative staff. At least I find myself not feeling sleepy after lunch even when I got work to do. My two bosses are so far good to me and I think they do appreciate having that extra assistance now. I need to attend a meeting by myself alone as representative of Content team. Hopefully when client asked abt related questions regarding Content, I'll be able to answer as my boss is unable to attend the breakout session this afternoon so I'll be attending on his behalf taking minutes.
I cannot believe I actually signed on this event held by a website I used to sign up for: Quick Dates & High Tea for Christians tomorrow. I will go there relaxed and bring an open-mind that I want to get to know more Christians out there besides from my church. This session is obviously held for only singles so I hope that I'll be able to bring a smile tomorrow and won't feel weird attending such social event. It'd be like speed dating kind of process. I've never been to this event but it'd be an opportunity for me to get to know more Christian friends be it female or males. Even though nothing might bloom out of it but at least we'll have something in common to talk about. But I'm usually shy in front of strangers so I just hope I'll open up to these people easily. I'm much better now ever since I joined Student Council back in my uni days. I'm able to open up to strangers now compared to the past where I'm just known to look arrogant or stuck-up. Being in Student Council as Councillors, I had to go around approaching or talk to freshies trying to persuade them to join Student Council or even promote Council. Will update how the dates go.
