Rantings...
This is the second time typing this blog. My pc was off by my dad just now. He accidentally pulled the plug off while changing ink cartridge for me. So I gotta type again. Haven't been blogging for almost a week now. Guess nothing much is happening to me yet. Last fri I went to my "last" check-up after my patch test at the skin centre. The test shows some positive signs for one of the allergies. I'm allergic to a type of fragrance which contains a certain kind of alcohol but the doctor says it is not likely for my eczema to reappear or worsened. Then I took a cab with my mum to school. I managed to reach there before class starts. After class, I went to town to meet Mingli. she gave me a long sleeve top from Sense as my birthday present. So I treated her to dinner at Crystal Jade's Xiao Long Bao La Mian at Scott's Shopping Centre. Then we headed down to Topshop. I wanted to see if I can get a pair of jeans and use my voucher but they did not have my size and there's nothing nice there though it was crowded due to sale for members. Then we went to MNG and I saw a top on display at ISetan MNG boutique. The design looks a bit ethnic like those traditional tribal clothing top but it's supposed to wear with jeans. It costs $49 which at MNG is counted okie. Duno why but the price there like seemed to drop. Anyway, after that, MIngli and I were damn bored so we decided to find a place to sit and chat. We went to TCC in Kinokuniya and started chatting about going for holiday to Taiwan. we always talk about holidaying and stuffs but always did not go in the end. Yesterday stayed at home and do my OB group assignment and computing assignment. But in the end, did not managed to touch on Computing cause I was loafing around and stuffs. This month 19th I got two friends 21st birthday is on that day-funny thing is both of them are called Serene, I just realised it only. I dunno where to go. One is from poly and the other is from uni. One's having western buffet at Riverboat Sentosa and the other is at East Coast Chalet BBQ. Tied between two friends. Sigh, dunno what to do. Yeah, going to watch Hitch this thursday. Heard many pple said this movie is funny and nice. Well, wait for my ratings soon! Okie for now, nothing much to talk about so I shall end here. Labels: eczema, Rantings

My 22nd birthday
Well, yesterday was my 22nd birthday of course. And received lots of prezzies this year. In the morning I got an ang pow from my mother. Then Grace sms me to ask me to come down to school after the stats lesson as they got a small gift for me. So I thought since I'm meeting Ivan for dinner anyway, might as well he pick me up from school then. I'll be getting a dinner treat from Ivan...heh heh. When I left house, the sun was extremely glaring and scorching hot. I went to the stats lecture theatre and waited for them to end the class. I met Jooe who just came to school and was waiting for the others too. She was carrying a cake but I pretended not to see anyway. Then when the lesson was finally dismissed, we got a seat outside the lecture theatre and they started taking out the cake out to celebrate Sok Wan's belated birthday and mine on actual day. So sweet of them, I was really surprised they actually got us a cake and present. 14 of them (Adeline, Jooe, Grace, Doris, Serene, Huimin, Yunwei, Zihao, Shane, Leon, Ah Hong, Jayden, Mark and Bernard). They got me a Topshop $130 voucher and Sok Wan's a Tang's voucher. I'm going shopping on Friday at Topshop. Just nice there on Friday got a special sale for members. Think I wanna buy jeans with it. Friday's gonna meet with MIngli, she wanna pass me my bday present. Took a few pics with my class, will post it soon...Ivan had wanted to treat me to Marche. BUt I dun really like Marche so in the end, we ended up in Olio at Suntec. I ordered the set Black Pepper Steak Medium Well. The steak is delicious. Guess I seldom eat steak so this is really once in a blue moon to me. Cause someone treating so dare to order. It came with soup/salad (chose soup of the day-clam chowder with corn..yummy!) and a dessert which is carrot cake. Ivan had the set Grilled Chicken Thigh with Orange Sauce and dunno whatever stuffs with asparagus and mashed potato. My steak came with wedges. The couple sitting beside us saw a cockraoch right beside them crawling on the wall. I saw it too. Full-grown adult size cockroach. Ivan called the waitress who got her superior and caught it with a tissue easily. Heard he told her to call up the pest control. Damn gross to see such pests in a high class restaurant. Now they have a bad reputation with my publicising around in my blog but who cares, people will still go patronise anyway. Me too despite the cockroach is just an accident. I felt like buying some cheesecake home for my parents. So I went to check out those cafes in Suntec which sells cheesecake. I saw Secret Recipe outside Carrefour and yeah..that's the one I'm going to buy cause my dad loves the cheesecake there. Will sure to like the cake I buy. I bought two slices, New York Cheese and the Marble Cheese. Before that, I was looking around for my birthday present from Ivan so I decided to look for a pair of sneakers. Nothing caught my eye actually until Levis store I saw this pair of shoes which is not too bad. It costs $90. I definitely did not want so expensive as a gift. So I walked around again but Suntec had nothing much. I really did not want to choose Levis shoes actually cause it is way too ex for a birthday that is no longer 21st. But Ivan insisted on getting it. I really felt bad about accepting the present actually even till now....Labels: birthday
