A surprise message...
I was about to go out to a meeting at 3.45pm today when I received a incoming message on msn from a person unexpectedly. Andre actually text me to ask me if I want to go back to him. I didn’t answer his question and he was expecting an answer from me. I told him I thought he would have already found a gf le. Cuz my fren told me she thought she saw him with a girl. Just when I least unexpected and forgotten about my past relationship, he messages me. Yet I do not know what his intentions are in asking me that question in the 1st place. Does he really find it hard to let me go or he just don’t want to lose me? Anyway no point thinking since I never want to get back with him…

Birthday Celebration - Part 3
Luckily I took half day today cause I came home at 3am in the morning and I'm having a hangover now. I had fun yesterday. Meiling brought her friend along and he asked another guy friend along. They had a surprise for me. They brought me to Wild Rocket at Hangout @ Mount Emily for dinner. Their service was good I gotta say and they had a bday surprise dessert for me. It was awkward for me to chat with the other guy, Vincent. Alan was a funny guy though and he makes us less awkward. I took vincent's car when we headed to another place. We went to a ktv pub called Star where Meiling and Alan frequent. The staff there were nice and friendly. The customers who patronize there are probably regulars. We can sing and I drank couple of drinks there till I had headache. We played bluff game using dice and pair up with Vincent so whoever loses, both has to drink (I merely took sips). But I drank one and a half glass of Vodka Lime / Ribena then I felt headache so I requested for iced water. The staff were nice, they knew it was my bday, they got me a small cake on the house and we shared with every customer there. My first experience in such things but it was nice experiencing it once in a while. I can't take liquor well so I never really hang out so much. But nice to hang out with friends once in a while and Meiling wants to introduce her friends to me saying they're nice people. Indeed they are nice. They know I can't drink a lot they won't make me drink and will help me drink.

Birthday Celebration - Part 2
I had a nice dinner gathering with my church pals, Kailin, Rachel and Mabel. It was a gals outing. They surprised me with a huge bunch of flowers (3 hot pink gerberas) for my birthday. We went to LENAS at Bugis for dinner. Nice to catch up with them after so long. I feel bad that I haven't been able to meet them after so long, it's like I should get back to meeting them more often. We talked about everything, about our upcoming trips, one of them getting married soon this year. The youngest in my groupie and yet getting married before us. There is still one more youngest but she joined our groupie much later. We're all happy for her though that she's found her happiness. We grew up knowing each other as my aunt and her mum were sch classmates so when we were very young, we used to hang out often for parties and all. Cause my aunt weren't married, so she often brought my sister and myself to join her classmates' gatherings when they brought their kids along. So that was how I knew her. Then I went to Sunday School and she was in my class cause she was 2 years my junior.
We were talking about our aims and goals in life and I didn't know what to answer them. I don't have a goal in life...Perhaps yes looking forward to meeting that someone whom I can share my future with but that is like not a goal cause it is something that we have to work towards to. I gotta think about that now...Perhaps I'm a simple-minded person like my mum. My sis is like my dad I guess. Like simple goals to them like lose 5 kgs by the end of the month and losing another 6 kgs by the next month can be a goal for one of my gal frens.
We hang out till 9pm at the restaurant and took some photos. Will upload once I have them...I have a dinner appt tonight but not sure if there will be photos to take and stories to blog about. Birthday Wishes...
I have received few messages on MSN earlier to wish me a Happy Birthday and from my parents, who gave me my ang bao. Then at 12 midnight, besides bday wishes on Facebook on my Wall posts, I received sms from my cousin, Kristin. Then at 12:08am I received an incoming call from a overseas number (which was actually a local handphone number) and I answered it, a birthday song was sung to me over the phone immediately and it was from the person that I wished to hear the most. A friend who is overseas now but still made an effort to stay awake to wish me a Happy Birthday whilst being overseas. It really brightens my day tomorrow having to work still on my birthday. But I chose not to take leave cause even if I taken leave, I don't have anyone to specially celebrate with me while I'm on leave besides my mum. And I have my project to finish, I got my HDB client to meet up tomorrow after the Time capsule sealing ceremony today. Then i can look forward to having dinner with my long-time best friend whom I know since primary school, Meiling, to celebrate my birthday with me...
