I brought my brother to Orchard Hotel for an interview today with Boon's brother, Alex who was the F&B Manager there. There was some vacancy for waiter or dishwashing. Then I went to Raffles Place for a short interview with Recruit Express to help me source for jobs. On my way home, I received a phone call from Ferrene from Adecco asking me to go down for interview with Christian Dior. The job she had mentioned to me about earlier and she sent out my resume this morning and they needed me to come down at 6.30pm for the interview. The office was at Great World City Office Tower. I reached home at 4.35pm and I managed to take a quick bath then left house at about 5.35pm again. I took a cab down knowing that i'll be late anyway. I spent $14.50 on cab fare alone including the peak rates. The interview took some time. The interviewers were two ladies. They asked quite a number of tough questions which I thought I sucked at it. But anyway, Ferrene called me afterwards and asked me how was the interview and told me that they were quite happy with me and that I may get for the position of Field Merchandiser instead. I do no mind as long as they offer me transport allowance for the travelling to different locations not within walking distance.

Then just now, I received another phone call from Melwani Pte Ltd for the position of Marketing Coordinator that I applied for. I was told to go down for interview at 11.15am on Friday. I was supposed to go to my dad's office so i realised the office was around my dad's office, so I can work in the morning then head for the interview and then come back to the office that day. I cannot remember what was the jobscope and exact industry it is in. So i went to find out and realised it is in the apparels retail industry for brands like Liz Clairborne, Aigner, Mexx and the position I applied for was under Mexx. The job scope was similar to Christian Dior's Marketing Admin Asst so hopefully I can get this other job either or. The only problem is, I do not know whether if either company will be hiring me after the interview. That is my only headache. The interview at Extra Excellence went through as they called me just now while on my way to the interview that I have been selected for the Marketing Asst position and asked if I was still interested. They left my decision open till tomorrow morning. So I'll most probably turn down this offer then since the pay is only $1,500 and very tiring and tedious job. Most importantly they are doing MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) with their products so my father and sister has been telling me not to take this job. Major dilemma and headache now...Sigh
