National Treasure

Just went to watched National Treasure at Cathay Cineleisure on Wednesday. Supposed to watch 7.15pm show but all because of that stupid one person who had a meeting for so long in the end only went in at ard 7.30pm. Damn angry. I made that friend paid for the tickets cause he should have informed me that he's attending the meeting. Then I could have cancelled watching the show today. I did miss watching the first parts in a few movies before but that was because it was my fault and traffic flow was heavy everytime so no one to blame. But this could have been avoided of me waiting aimlessly for so long. And thought we could have dinner before the show. End up da bao BK into the theatre. Anyway, my mum told me how the beginning was. I would say the show is not bad worth watching. Quite exciting at certain parts and rather funny.

For those who dunno what this show is about, here's a brief synopsis of the movie. Benjamin Gates (Nicolas Cage-The Rock, Gone in 60 Seconds) spent his whole life searching for a furtune few dared to believe it exists. This is the legendary Knights Templar Treasure, rumoured to be the most bounty in human history hidden in America. For six generations, the Gates family has been searching clues after clues left behind by founding fathers in hunt for this treasure. Finally, Ben knows where the hint to the treasure's location lies a hidden map at the back of the Declaration of Independence. Ben had a friend, Ian Howe (Sean Bean-The Lord of the Rings, Troy) who later turn his back on Ben to reach to the map first. Ben has to race against time to be the first to steal the Declaration of Independence before Ian. With the help of Ben's friend, Riley Poole (Justin Batha-Gigli), the tech-whiz expert and the National Archives conservator, Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger-Troy) to complete this treasure hunt. Okay, enough of all this. All the actors in this movie are Academy Award winner or Academy Award nominee. Even the crew are Academy Award winners. Jerry Bruckheimer heard of him? Producers of Pearl Harbor, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Rock and many more. So a must watch movie....

I received the SIM letter just yesterday saying today I'm supposed to go down to SIM to do the enrolment into RMIT. So I took half day leave last minute last night and my dad drove me to SIM this morning. I got a big file plus some notes synopsis to the lectures and a handbook. I was all alone there and a girl came in and sat beside me. She was also all alone there. Then after the briefing ended, she started talking to me and ask me am I the direct entry student (2 years) or 3 years one. Then she introduced herself and I introduced mine. We're in the same coputer lab group too. So we exchanged telephone numbers and had lunch together. She's my first friend in RMIT and I'm her first friend there too. So we agreed to meet up first during orientation day on the 28th. It's from 9am-3pm. At least we knew someone before the orientation. That is a breakthrough for me...haha. But she had a cousin who is in the third-year so good for us. She's my age and she took marketing which I will too in 2nd year (will change my specialisation confirmation). She's new to the west area thus SIM is a new place for her. I brought her around (just to the food areas) SIM as I counted "old bird" there as in I spent three years in Ngee Ann Poly and SIM is like my another sch before. Always have lunch in SIM anyway. So know the facilities almost at my fingertips already. The only place in SIM that I'm not familiar with and is my first time there today is the lecture theatres....
