It's been like more than 1 week since I last updated. Hey, sorry guys, practically forgot about it and been staying at home most of the week so nothing much to talk about. But I actually watched two movies this week already. One is House of Fury. Did not expect I'll watch this anyway but it turned out the show was not too bad. Worth my $6.50 at least I find it's better than Kungfu Hustle. As in the fighting scenes were more realistic though computer graphics were used but at least it's not as obvious and stupid as Kungfu Hustle. At least gals would watch for the heart-throb of Daniel Wu though his fighting scenes and the scenes in it were not that many, guys would watch for the fighting scenes and for Gillian Chung(Twins). I can see there's no stunt doubles in the show especially for Gillian's scenes maybe cause I heard she had some martial arts (taekwondo?) background skills herself. Not forgetting the director cum leading actor himself, Stephen Fung has his first attempt as a director for this movie which is good for the first movie as director. He'll find it rather rewarding. Don;t have the misconception that this is a comedy movie which this is not. It is more like an action movie instead though some parts are a bit funny. So don't watch it thinking that it's a comedy movie cause I guarantee when you finished watching the movie, u'll be disappointed.

The other movie I just watched yesterday is The Pacifier. This is the first time I'm watching a movie by Vin Diesel. I mean he always reminds me of The Rock. As you know The Rock is from WWF so it's natural Vin Diesel would remind me that he's from WWF which I think he's not right? The Pacifier is quite a funny show. As in compared to Meet the Fockers, the latter turned out to be not as funny as we had thought though I agree it was still a nice show. The Pacifier turned out to bebetter than what I had initially thought. Leon says the reviews are not that good and funny. But I ignored the critics and just watched it. I quite liked it.

I went shopping earlier alone yesterday and went to several shops. I went to Zara and bought I top which I love it so much when I saw it. That top only has M as the smallest size and has pink, ocean blue and dark brown. Costs $34.80 I think so I bought it. The top's rather big so the front's a bit low-cut so I guess I gotta wear a white tube inside but it'd go with it anyway. Guess I can wear it for some occasion or for clubbing the next time. Just came back at 4pm from buffet lunch at Concorde Hotel. It's my grandfather's birthday this Sat so we celebrated in advance. I bought a bedroom slipper from Watson's for him cause he needs one right now. The food at Concorde sucks now that the management has changed to Holiday Inn. So the food has changed from nonya style to western style. They won't even serve water except warm water. Fruit juices can be served at $6 per glass. And water is served as mineral water only. That's our last time eating at that place for sure.

I can't wait to watch Sound of Music musical this Wednesday. Bought the $60+ ticket for it cause $30+ ticket is fully sold out. Yesterday there was a long queue at Wisma too to get the tickets at Esplanade for this musical. I've always wanted to watch musical. If Phantom of the Opera musical was here too, I'll sure pay to watch it too. Cause this is like one chance of a lifetime show. In Singapore, we hardly get to watch Broadway musical. Guess my next blog will be about this musical...
