Day of shopping...

Yesterday was a day of shopping. I spent a whole total of $80+. Got my pay on Friday though ($468) for 2 weeks. Went to Raffles City to meet Aunty Linda, Aunty Sally, my grandparents, Aunty Maggie and her daughter, Felicia with my mum and brother. Aunty Sally and my grandparents got to stay in Swissotel The Stamford. The room was on the 56th storey. Then we went to food court for lunch and then went shopping in Raffles City. I went to Robinson's and bought some undergraments from Hush Puppies and then went to Perlini's Silver and bought a charm bracelet to replace the old one I had which tarnished. Hopefully this Perlini's won't tarnish. I bought a pandant to go with it too which costs a total of $34 after 30% discount for bracelets only. A little smaller in size than the previous one but better than nothing. Then we headed down to SunTec City. I went into Mjphosis in CityLink and tried on this three quarter off shoulder black top which costs $40.00. I wanted the $34.00 almost similar design except it can be worn as halter neck together with it but there was no more L size for any of the colours and M was too tight for me...far too tight. Mjphosis cutting are quite small. Even the top I bought had to be bought L size.

Then we stopped by quite a number of shops while I went to Cafe Cartel to reserve seats for a table of 9 but there were insufficient seats anyway so we just booked it. Cafe Cartel at SunTec is the worst place to dine at and will be our last time stepping into that outlet again. We were supposed to all go on dutch so even my mum made me pay for dinner myself since I'm working now. So we split into two tables. One for table for four, the other for five. Felicia joined her mum and their table but her order was made together with us. So Uncle Chan, Aunty Linda and me were at the other table. We made our orders same time but we were in front of Aunty Maggie's order. But at that time, the cashier had some problems so our receipt cannot be processed but Aunty Linda paid for the bill first. There were no more discount for UOB cards. So our table had 1 set meal and Aunty Maggie there had 2 sets. However, Aunty Maggie got the receipt and their soup and drinks came before us. We start to realised that perhaps the receipt was not processed thus they did not prepare our food.And initally they told us that the soup of the day was cream of mushroom so they ordered the set meal but they ran out of stock and changed to minnestrone without even informing us that cream of mushroom was out otherwise we may not have ordered set meals instead. And the minnestrone sucks big time. So thick and very sour...

While we were still waiting for our soup and drink, Aunty Maggie's table main dish was served. Aunty Linda was quite impatient and asked the cashier about our order. Then they realised there were some problems. I kept staring at them to pressurise them cause the cashier sought help from another colleague whom I guess is the most senior there. They said they need the credit card again to process the receipt again and void the previous one and said my order of Grilled Chicken cannot change the linguini to fries cause the chef do not allow which is absurd for sure as I have went to Orchard and PS branch but both are able to do that. In fact even if they can't, because of the delay in order, they shld adhere to customer's request no matter what. This was what made me very pissed off the most too. At first we requested for discount having waited for the food so long and we were starving. The waitress actually agreed having said that discount given only for ala-carte items. In the end, they ask us what cheesecake do we want and replaced giving discount to a slice of Oreo cheesecake which they did not even let us make a choice of whether to choose discount or cheesecake. They did not even inform us of this change in decision and broke their agreement. The drinks came but wrong order. My aunty wanted Pepsi not 7-up so they changed it (countless mistakes made now). Thenshe made sure that our same order doesn't get past our table. There was this other table of 4 who came even earlier than us has been waiting for our food and has been complaining to them. I heard him say that he's been waiting for more than 1 hour for the food. He complained twice. My aunty was damn pissed off with them. When the third order came for Felicia (pork chop), that stupid waiter place it on my side. I told him to serve it at the other table twice but he dun seem to move an inch instead he saw me lifting up the plate and the cutlery and standing up and said he'll get me another cutlery. I was so fed up. What? I had to serve the plate myself? This is enough. Everyone was amost finished except me. My auntie finally asked them when's my order gonna come. I sarcastically replied loud, "Tomorrow perhaps" dunno if the waiter heard it but it was meant to let him hear anyway. Then when my order came, it was pork chop and not grilled chicken (another mistake made). How bizarro that can be that night. My auntie told me to write the feedback form but she decided to type it on email herself cause it was too long so I just wrote my part on it using her name. We had better make sure they compensate us with a free meal. This was the worst night we had for dinner. We went there at 7pm, made orders at 7.30pm and ended up finished at about 9pm.

Today went to watch F.I.R showcase at IMM Open Carpark at 4pm. My sis gave me 4 tickets but in the end gave two to her friend's sister cause my two other friends backed out. So I went with Ivan to watch this showcase. They were singing live alright. Took some photos but mostly was videos. They sang 6 songs from new album, Wu Xian. They started off with Qian Nian Zi Lian, Wu Xian, sang Lydia with this F.I.R KTV singing competition Champion who is a 15 year old boy. He was good, he really deserved the No. 1 title. Then they also sang Ba Ai Fang Kai, Ci Niao and lastly Love x3. Did not managed to shoot the video of Love x3 cause everyone's hands were up as requested by F.I.R so just enjoyed the song. Then the autograph session started but we left cause we did not buy the album no point staying for it. IMM was packed today and the weather was hot. FIR only appeared at around 4.20pm but appeared on stage at 4.35pm. During this period. YES933 DJ, Zhiyong was playing games and entertaining the fans. And the champion, first and second runner up went up to sing F.I.R's songs. They particpated in KBox F.I.R KTV singing competition. The 2nd runner up was quite good. Nice voice quality singing When I Wanna Fall In Love. At this point, fans of FIR started screaming cause they saw FIR started appearing to backstage. Then the 1st runner up went up to sing Wo Yao Fei. She had good stage presence and could connect with audience but I find her voice quality not as good as the third perhaps cause it was a fast song and at one part, her voice almost broke at one note. But she brought in the strong wind which was good for us. SHe said she particpated in Project Superstar too. Then the champion came, it was this 15 year old boy who sang Wu Xian. He sang the rap part which did not sounded good and doesn't sounded like champion material but his rapping is good though we could hear the background original sound. But he could catch the words is good. Then when he started singing the Faye part, everyone cheered and wowed. Even Ivan and I were shocked and cheered for him. He sounded like Faye and his voice was quite girly like. He could sing the high notes of Faye too. I videoed that small part too. That is why FIR sang Lydia together with him as it is his dream of singing on stage with FIR himself. They sounded quite blended together cause their voice were quite similiar. Thumbs up for this guy! Whoever wants to see the videos can get from me on MSN but oicture quality not that clear but sound not bad, clear enough. Heres some pics to share:
