I went to watch Bewitched with Yiwei on Friday at Cineleisure. The show was not too bad. Doesn't deserve the star of 1 and a half star out of 5 stars from the movie critic though. It's quite funny too. Nicole Kidman definately looks good in this show, with the short, blonde curls. It suits her. Guess she looks better in blonde after all. After the movie, we met up with Chris (Yiwei's friend) and his another friend and we decided to go play pool at Meridien Hotel. The place was packed and Yiwei and I have gotta wait. Next time, better not play with pros like Josiah and Yiwei who play in pool competitions. I'll never have a chance to play one. First game, Yiwei played all the way, I never even had a chance to have a go at it. In the end, I'll still lose him.

Yesterday, Gary invited me to his 21st birthday party at an apartment in Somerset which is also near River Valley. Meiling wanted me to go so that she can chip me in for the ang pow too and she can intro her classmates to me which are also my classmates for Introductory Accounting. Meiling and Gary are from the same OG and classmates too so that is also where I got to know Gary at first. I walked from Somerset MRT to Killiney Road and couldn't find the road River Valley Road he was talking about. I thought I'll take a cab. There were no available cabs in sight. Finally when a cab came, it had to take a big round before turning into St. Thomas Walk. The address given was 23 St. Thomas Walk, Sam Kiang Mansion so I told the taxi driver and he had misunderstood that it was St. Thomas Walk blk 23. In the end, when I alighted the cab and called Meiling up to confirm if this was the place, I realised it was the wrong place. Just as I was going to find the guard house to seek directions for the exact location. I thought I was lost. There were so many staircases but I couldn't see where the guardhouse was. Then I saw this black car stopped and the driver seem to have a surprised look but I did not expect him to be someone I knew. So I just ignored him. I was about to walk out of his sight when I heard someone calling me, I walked back and saw it was Jim, my poly classmate cum FYP group mates before. He was staying there actually - Grange Heights Apartment so he offered to give me a ride to Gary's house. So I phoned Meiling not to fetch me already.

When upon arrival at the poolside, I thought I saw Gary so I called out, but it turned out his friends told me Gary's not here. I felt so embarrassed...That guy realli looked like Gary from the back view. Haha...Then in the end, I sat down with his JC friends by the poolside. He was from Pioneer JC. Then I even sat down and played cards with them a while, while waiting for Meiling to come. Then when Meiling came, I went over to join her classmates and herself. There were quite a huge group. I didn't even remember their names. I'll get their names again and edit the pics with the names added to it again. They're quite fun and nice people though they're my juniors in school. Meiling, Jacqueline and I were the only gals in the group. After finishing the food, I started playing games with them - Indian Poker. We'll be given two cards which we are supposed to put up on our foreheads and we are not supposed to see. We can only see everyone else's cards except myself. So the number which exceeds 10 will be regarded as 1 digit based on the second card and 20 will be considered as zero and everyone will get their chance in mixing alcohol. So we mixed Vodka with Pepsi in a cup at every round. The lowest number will have to drink it up. Meiling knew I can't hold my liquor well, she offered to help me drink half. First three games, I kept losing cause I kept getting 0 points. Some of the guys are quite nice to help us finish up the cups. Then this guy (who is also a Christian) seeing my eyes are tunring red and face too, he offered to gamble on himself to change from lowest points to the highest points to drink instead. Indeed, he was right. It started to change, I needn't have to drink anymore. So far, I drank vodka mixed with Chocolate Milk which tasted like shit then I tasted Pepsi with a lot of Vodka at the top part so the Vodka taste was rather strong. We finished the whole bottle of Vodka and Pepsi and even opened a new Pepsi bottle. Then they opened Duvet (this German beer), expensive one I heard and opened this Dry Gin which is the worst of alcohols. But I didn't drank the beer and Gin at all. Never drank so much alcohol for qute some time. At the bash, I only drank a bit of Bourbon Coke and Vodka Lime. This was worst...But it was fun...

At least I get to know another group of friends. At the party, I also offered to help Gary take photos during the cake-cutting with his family and friends. There was a big group. It was a lot of guys than gals there. A few actually caught my attention though...Heh heh

After this, I decided to leave with Jacqueline where Meiling and some of the guys were not in sight. Vincent had just left not long too. In the end, Jacqueline decided to stay behind and go back together with one of them who was driving. So I went back myself. The street down to the main road was dark and deserted. At first I didn't know which way to go. Then I started feeling raindrops. So I hurried my footsteps and went back to Somerset MRT to withdraw money then went back up again to Hotel PHoenix and caught a cab home (Mecedes) cause it was already 11pm and I gotta go to church. I didn't know we had cut the cake at around 10-10.30pm. I did not even stayed to eat the cake. Anyway, at least this was one party that I went which I dun feel like leaving early or bored. Cause there were times I just went to someone's bday party or chalet where I only knew the birthday boy.
