RMIT Sports Day

Today is RMIT's Sports Day held at Temasek Polytechnic. We had booked the badminton courts, basketball courts, netball court and street soccer court. The sun was hot today. The journey to TP from SIM is less than half an hour too from PIE as we rented a bus from school to TP. When we reached TP, it was before 10.30pm and I told the others to come at 10.30pm for Captain's Ball. I had to organise the teams which one to start playing first. At first I know nothing about Captain's ball but now learnt a lot about the rules and positions. I was supposed to be the in charge and the timekeeper. The weather was good till 1pm. Suddenly, the sky became dark, and it was starting to drizzle. Just when we were starting to pack up and move to indoors. It started pouring heavily. We had to ran all the way but we were all drenched through. KK immediately took pictures of our wet look.

Then we started to move into the badminton courts to continue the captain's ball match. It was a whole busy day we did not even had time to take a breath and rest for lunch. The teams all consecutively played one after another. There were 5 teams in all and each team had to play min. 2 times where one team played three times to vie for 1st/2nd/3rd position. The medals were finally given out to the respective winning teams. They had a fun time I guess but wasted a lot of time waiting too. Wait till the debriefing comes then we'll know the response and comments. I had sunburnt on my face though I put sunblock on it and I also realised that my shoulders area were sunburnt too cause I was wearing spaghetti strap top. My shoudlers will peel like hell. As for my face, just hopefully the sunblock (SPF-15) will help a bit or the make-up can help to conceal the peeling on the pageant night (tues).

Even though I was not playing, I was also tired from all the walking and running around timekeeping the games. Fell asleep on the jorney home on the MRT. TP is big and nice. Better than Ngee Ann Poly for sure. They have street soccer courts and stuffs. Even have hockey courts. So I did not have my lunch today...Yeah, tomorrow gonna watch Charlie & the Chocolate Factory with Ivan and Andrew again. Supposed to watchi friends on Wed after meeting. But in the end, it was called off due to few reasons. So I'm gonna left with just Bewitched to watch after that. Gotta start on assignments soon liao...
