Yesterday my events dept held some steamboat buffet outing at Marina Bay. Only abt 10 people turned up. We decided on Dragon Village (Long Chun). It is my first time there so I was quite swa ku (ignorant) The only steamboat buffet I had before was only Seoul Garden. My two new heads of Events were not there and our ex-head will only join us later. We took a few pictures and had some chit-chatting and bonding session. We decided to go to our next place to chill out. Lydia suggested Coffee CLub at Califonia Fitness cause she worked there and had a privilege card of 15%. Daniel came and join us. We had 10 people and there were 5 guys who drove their cars but only four girls including me turned up. I took Yiyao's car, Jonathan took Keith's car, Lydia took Weijie's car, Teck rode his bike there, Matilda and Annie took Johnny's car. Wee Keong left after the dinner. We stayed till abt 11.30pm. Matilda and Annie left after they we dropped them off at Orchard to catch a cab as they needed to rush home.

We chatted about our next events outing will be KTV session. keith recommended this $10 KTV at Chinatown. We decided to go for 17 June (Sat) from 2-7pm. Hopefully more people will turn up. Will upload the pics here after I upload everything including tonight's outing with my OG-G6 outing. Next sem they will have their own OG so perhaps this may be our last outing. I organised this outing to have dinner at Marche. The last time Teck was not there. Today think he cannot make it for dinner again too. That guy, always wrong timing. I thought of going out to chill after that but think Lina and Clarence has got to wake up early tomorrow so will leave at 10pm. So spoilsport again!

It was my sis and her bf, Chris's 4th year anniversary yesterday. My sis came home at 1+ showing me the ring on her finger. It was a proposal ring. I was shocked and really happy for my sis. Her wish has finally came true. She told me that she wanted to get married at the age of 26 and though now there hasn't been any plans yet but I'm still happy for her. He bought a bouquet of roses for her and gave her during dinnertime then the proposal flowers was at a park and it was 12 big lilies. Both were bought from Orchard Rd so both aren't cheap. And her ring is Brilliant Rose from Soo Kee Jewellery so it ain't that cheap either. The rose was Velvet Roses which is the expensive type of roses. Prob imported roses and the lilies are very nicely bloomed. My sis said there is a meaning behind the lilies. She refused to tell me but I think it may be what I had figured. Chinese word for lilies is 百合花 which represents 百年好和 (long-lasting relationship) for marriages. As for 12 red roses, 12 this number actually represents "I love you" if you remember the number you used to page your bfs/gfs "512" means "I Love You" in Chinese. I was asking her if the ring was worn correctly on the left hand. I had to help her check thru watching a Jap drama I had and then reconfirmed with another Korean drama. He had initially wanted to slip it on her right hand finger but she told him she thought it is left. Probably wedding bells would ring next year she said. Both can formally properly look for a second-hand flat now and start planning. She wants a garden wedding ceremony with no dinner banquet so it will be just reception or buffet lunch in the garden. The ideal westernised wedding...

I was the first to know abou this news and was seriously touched and happy for her. But I will have to face the fact that she will be leaving to start her own family soon and I will be lonely without her in the same room as me. Well, perhaps it is because I don't have someone whom I can love or someone who loves me yet whom I can feel that I am not lonely. Well, would hope that I could be my sis's bridesmaid when she gets married. When I heard the news I congratulated her and hugged her. Think we were sisters so long, we have never really hugged each other when we grew up. Think she can also feel my blessings and happiness for her. News spread really quickly. My sis told my Aunty Linda about it and my grandparents were told by her instead of my mum who normally will be the first to tell them. My grandparents were the happiest of all cause they get to see their first granddaughter getting married soon. I just hope my sis and Chris won't drag the marriage ceremony too long.
