Auntie Sally won a night's stay at Executive Suite at Four Season's Regent Hotel. She invited Aunty Linda, my sister and I over to stay overnight. As we had never stayed at a suite before, we were very excited. I even took photos of the whole room. There are two rooms, a living room and the bedroom. There is a king-size bed with an arm chair next to it, a study desk, a huge bathroom with bathtub and branded soaps, a huge size TV with channels like National Geographic, AXN, Star Movies, Vision Four (4 channels), Star World, NHK, etc. In the living room, there is the beverage counter, arm chair, study desk a two-seater sofa bed, a smaller toilet with just the basin and toilet bowl, etc.

The branded tea from India - Dilmah. My sister loved this brand as she had it at home too. Had different flavours like Jasmine Green Tea, Caramile Tea, Mint Tea, Earl Grey Tea, Nescafe Coffee and Creammate, etc. She was so tempted to bring back everything, still in the end, she brought few back...

After lunch at Tanglin Mall Food Court, we went back to the room to change into our swim wear attire. We had wanted to go sun tanning and dip ourselves into the jacuzzi. We went to the Fitness Centre on Level 2. The security level is strict like Four Season's as both needed a key to go up the elevators to the rooms. When we reached the swimming pool, we were disappointed, the pool was not only small, there was no sun as it was already 3+. So we went to the Fitness Centre to try out the jacuzzi. My sis had wanted to go to the gym but she changed her mind after she saw the gym. So Aunty Linda and I went alone to try out the whirlpool/jacuzzi. It was very small, just for four persons. Initially we had the pool to ourselves for abt 10 mins. Then 2 men came, they saw us two ladies in the pool, they went into the sauna and steambath respectively. Though it is a unisex pool, they still did not want to share a small whirlpool with two ladies. Then two Japanese women came and joined us. It was not my first time being in a jacuzzi but there is only one word to describe the feeling of being in a jacuzzi, "Shiok!"

Then my aunties and my mum wanted to give my grandma an early Mother's Day treat so we went around Tanglin Mall looking for a cheap western restaurant and found The Oak's. The entrance of the restaurant from inside Tanglin Mall has a shop combined together which sells a lot of wine. I believe it has a wide range variety of different wines from various countries and brands. The restaurant is actually a Grill & Bar Italian restaurant. My mum and I ordered Pasta Ala Carbonara which is bacon, garlic with cream sauce. My aunties shared two bowls of mushroom soup and Pasta Seafood Pesto. My grandpa had Grilled Salmon Fillet and my grandma and uncle had Roasted Spring Chicken. Their side orders had 50% discount so we ordered Fried Calamari and Brocolli Nuggets. Their speciality was pasta actually cause they are after all an Italian restaurant but the waiter that served us was very friendly and warm. But my mum and grandma did not enjoy their food. The carbonara was too salty so my mum did not like it and the spring chicken was far too bloody on the inside so my grandma did not enjoyed it. But this whole meal costs us $159.50...

Yesterday on my way home from church, I saw this bird resting on the kindergarten window still of my void deck. I just took out my camera and took a close view of the bird. Then I called my dad to see the bird. My dad has the hobby of taking photographs of birds so he knew what this species is. He tried to scare the bird off but no matter how near we go or scare, it refuse to fly away or budge. My dad says it may be sick since its eyes are closing. Maybe it's gotten bird flu so told me not to touch or go near it. Poor bird, its feathers are rather pretty. Blue shiny feathers with tint of red wings...



Just wanted to post up pictures of my nieces and nephew from my cousin's second wedding. Yeap, I have become an auntie now but I will never have the chance of hearing it yet cause my nieces and nephew is in America. My cousin, Noel just got married again in America and his kids have become his flower boy and girls. The eldest look so Chinese now. Lucky these children are born to be good looking cause they are Chinese-American.

Hope is a nice name, I had thought the next child will be called Faith. If I have my own kids the next time, I'll call Hope and Faith. My sister even joked said that then can call Hope, Faith, Joy and next will be Love...Hope, Faith and Joy have heard before of pple's names. There is Courtney Love but Love is her surname...Maybe my sister's kids and mine can be named after Hope, Faith or Joy is nice name for a girl and not common...
