Had a fun time with G6 people yesterday. Everyone was present. This is the first time everyone turned up for this outing out of the so many outings we've organised. This was a great success. We went to dinner at Orchard Hotel International Buffet at Orchard Cafe. The buffet was supposed to be $40 per pax but Boon's elder brother is working there as the manager so he helped us got 50% off. So the 12 of us including Leong's gf, Yanling went. The buffet was worth the price njust that I was too full when I had the dinner. Besides lots of seafood. The outside had BBQ food like Lamb, chicken wings, cheese sausages, fish and satay. But always gotta wait and there is a queue cause the chef is BBQing it. There was chocolate fondue, chocolate cake, different cakes, cheese cakes, pudding, Movenpick ice-cream (chocolate, vanilla, caramel, coffee) with special toppings, cold dish was cold crabs, mussels with mango sauce and cold prawns. There was papaya soup and cream of broccolli soup, century egg porridge. At the counter with chefs was wanton noodles, chicken rice and waffles. There was Malay and Japanese food like salmon, sushi. There are lots of oysters and chili crabs. The Chinese food was normal veggies, Dried Beancurd, meat with bun (kou rou bao), lamb, fish, western food was mashed potato and roasted chicken with teriyaki sauce. Wide range selection of food right.

We stayed till 10pm before we left to decide our next place to chill out. We had wanted to go Mind Cafe or Settlers, heard that these two are cafe that can play board games but we gotta call and reserve table cause it is always crowded and packed. I did not know Singapore has such places around. We went to Mind Cafe opp. Paradiz Centre and behind Mr. Bean Cafe. There were several small pubs or KTV pubs around. Since Mind Cafe was full, we decided to just settle in some KTV pub to drink alcohol cause Clarence specially did not drive to school thinking he will have a chance to drink. But Weijie still drove and Teck rode his bike but he's decided he's gonna park his bike here for the whole night till today he'll come back to pick up his bike home. We went to Underground KTV Pub on the second floor. We had a private corner as it was packed but I had thought it was quiet private corner but then when people started singing KTV there the speaker was just behind our table on the wall so it was like going to a club but horrible singing. I also managed to sing one song Wu Ding with Weili and Boon. Then we opened a bottle fo Chivas. Serene and me had not wanted to touch alcohol at all. But Serene was forced to drink then she felt that just join in for the mood she'll join the crowd to drink. So I also felt that a bit of Chivas with green tea is alright so I also had that. Only Weijie and Melvin did not drink. Weijie was driving and Melvin had allergy to alcohol. Then our table of 5 started playing five-ten. When we got poker cards, we started playing Indian poker. After we finished the chivas, Leong decided to open another bottle of Martell. I had two glasses of chivas with green tea and I could not take it. So I changed to green tea but Serene was a little tipsy she just poured Martell into everyone's glass and I drank it without knowing. The taste is horrible. I then changed to green tea. In the end, Serene drank a lot and gotten drunk herself though she kept saying she's not. The guys started taking care of her. Janet and I had to take away the bottle of Martell to stop her from drinking. She even went to puke a bit. She kept insisting to walk by herself and that she is not drunk. A drunkard will never say they're drunk. Guess she just don't wanna spoil our fun of going home earlier because of her. In the end we left at 2+am. Leong and Teck and their friends stayed on while the rest of us left with her. Boon, Weili and Janet sent Serene home by cab while I followed Clarence and Lina home by cab. Weijie drove Melvin home. I got a plastic bag for Serene just in case she felt nauseous again. All of us reached home safely afterwards anyway.

It was a fun day. It's been so long since we had such fun and gathering. We took a few pics at Orchard Hotel will upload here once it's up. This buffet we shared and paid for Leong, Janet and Weijie's belated birthdays in July. We each paid $32 for their share and mine. Plus the alcohol and cabfare was $14, I gave Lina $20 so in total last night I spent about $50 on food and entertainment itself. Lucky my pay is coming in on 25th but I gotta start paying$100 for my sch fees debt to my brother from this month onwards...And my credit card bills to my dad...In debt...:sob
