My dad told me on Tuesday that he will be going to HK from 12th-17th Oct for an exhibition so means he's going there for work. His boss is sending him there to oversee the exhibition. Think he is gonna sell his LCD Screen Mobile TV in cars there too. I said I wanna go too so I mentioned my mum's name too. Cause otherwise I will be travelling alone. I'm so excited for this HK trip. It is my first trip overseas (besides Malaysia) and my first time taking a plane. Yeap, I am mountain tortoise alright? Cause I used to have phobia about taking planes when I was young. Just having the thought of the plane flying up and your ears will turn deaf or something really freaks me out. I stayed in Westin Stamford Hotel once when I was young before. And as you know it is 72 storeys high, I remember our room was at 50 something floors so the elevators went up to the 50th floor was the same kind of feeling like in plane. My family had to say that to help lighten my phobia of planes.

My sec school used to have sch trips to Thailand, and because of the phobia I still had, I did not sign up for the trip. And I always thought that Thai food were all spicy food and those who really knew me, knew I dun take spicy food. So after that few years later, muy whole family had almost wanted to go Australia to attend my cousin's wedding, but my sister was in poly at that time so she cannot miss lectures and I was already slowly overcoming my fear of taking planes. Initially I had refused to go, then my grandmother and auntie started calling me and explaining to me taking planes aren't that scary and stuffs. And having seen so many of my relatives and sister going for holiday makes me envy and wonder, why didn't I love taking planes before?

I'm 23 and I haven't even travel by plane before. Now my cousin's had even went overseas to countries like America when they were young. All I could say was, Lucky kids / babies being born in this century. Anyway, my dad had already booked YMCA International House in Kowloon's Yau Ma Tei. His accomodation and flight were paid for. So I checked out the air fares. And SIA appears to have promotion at $350 before tax min. 2 to travel. My dad will be buying single ticket as he will flying to Taiwan from HK on the last day before returning back to Singapore on the 18th or 19th I think. At least my first flight experience I took SIA. My dad said he'll book the flight tomorrow or Sunday online soon. Really can't wait. I'll be going on a 5 day trip to HK. My dad suggested my mum and I go to Macau and Shen Zhen but two women go, is it safe? Hmm...

My mum says she haven't been to Ocean Park for very long. Whoa, she's gonna bring me there. Like pretty boring, two ladies going there. Unless if I'm a kid maybe I'll be excited but still I know of certain attractions in HK like Wong Tai Sin Temple, Victoria Peak, Lan Kwai Fong, etc. But dunno if we're able to visit these places a not. Shopping yes, that's why I'm trying to save money now for the trip though I saved on airticket and accomodation already. My mum will be celebrating her bday in HK this year with just my dad and me....Anyway, I'm gonna miss my computer when I'm gone. I'm gonna take pictures of course...

I had a quarrel with my dad yesterday morning. Over job hunting and TV. Both doesn't link alright. He was just picking on me...Anyway, he just cannot speak to me nicely and properly. he wanted me to resign immediately and start looking for proper job. I told him that if I were to quit now and find job, who would want to hire someone who is gonna take leave in Oct, and if I were to quit now, where will I get the money to go HK? He brought up the matter of repaying sch fees again. In fact, he brought up lots of other stuffs, my studies, my cousins who are already working in a bank. In the end, the person who gave the best and sensible suggestion as my mother. I'll resign when I meet my agent on 8th Sept to submit to her my timesheet. At the same time, I'll speak to her about my resignation. So by the time I reach Oct, before my trip, I'll stop work and go for interviews and all and can officially start working after I come back from HK that is if everything goes on smoothly.

Today I received a call from Macaedas asking me to go for an interview on Monday for the Marketing Asst job I applied. It is at MacPherson area. Super far so I initially agreed to the interview. After much consideration, I sent them an email saying I had to turn down the interview cause of certain factors. I just saw the email they sent to me saying: "We are indeed disappointed to hear about your consideration. You were on our first choice of consideration for the post. If you should want to change your mind, please let us know. " I am so tempted to even go for this interview, but if I were to go and liked their job scope and all, I would have to consider working this far. And doing marketing, often OT is quite frequent. Imagine me travelling all the way back home. I dunno how far is Aljunied away from Bugis but I know there are 12 stops in total from Lakeside (my house). And from Aljunied, there is a bus to transfer to.
Should I go and at least hear what the company is doing exactly? Unless they tell me they provide transport allowance for me, I may consider taking up the job, I can take cab most of the time. I really do not know, from the way he said, he may be just trying to tempt me to change my mind, or he may be really considering me for the post. I'm trying to hear from my dad and my sister's advice whether should I at least attend the interview and hear the offers and all....q(>o<)p ---> clenching my fist tight, feeling quite frustrated right now
