Saturday 19th August was RMITs Bash again. This time it was held in DXO. I got Boon to buy two tickets for Meiling and me. Then Meiling's poly buddy, Nicholas decided to join us. So I got Teck to reserve 1 ticket for him. I met meiling at 7pm at Lakeside MRT. When we reached City Hall, it was almost 8pm. We went for dinner at Thai Express Bistro and waited for some time for our food. After dinner, when we walked over to DXO it was already 8.45pm and the pageant had just started. I saw the door was Gary, Teck, Robin each wearing the uniforms for the theme Worker's Party. Actually some were irrelevant. Gary, Robin and Teck wore as a robber (with a stocking over his head and a fake knife), plane technician and a doctor (biotech student in poly thus he had a lab coat) respectively.

The entrance also had council people wearing SIA uniform and Malaysia Airways and Andrew was wearing pilot uniform. Managed to take photo with him too. I was like a paparazzi that night. Holding a camera around taking photos of people in their costumes. Serene came in as a nurse. She must be the hottest nurse around. Haha. I voted for F1 Angie cause I saw her on her day of the interview for student council and I was there speaking to her in the waiting area. I told her that she reminded me of one celebrity, Angela Zhang and since then people have been saying that too. She is very petite and have big eyes and sharp tiny nose just like Angela Zhang from MVP Valentine. She danced with us too that night but she was very high and drunk. She got in 2nd place in the pageant. I did not managed to take a lot of photos from the pageant but I managed to took a video of their catwalk in their costumes.

The girl wearin the nurse uniform is F1 Angie. The girl I said to resemble Angela Zhang...look at how cute she is. She looks quite flirtatious here. A flirty nurse perhaps?




This was M5 Tony. Think he is the worst looking of all leh. He is James and Johnny's friend I think that's why they both went up on stage. The gals were to just dance along with the music played. The guys were given to choose a task in the envelope they had chosen. This guy was to get 5 pple to kiss him on any parts of the body or face.




As you can see, James and Johnny are from council so they dressed themselves as nuns like Whoopi Goldberg from Sister Act since they are already so tanned. They were quite funny on stage.




Agacia and Fiona were the emcees for this year's Pageant. Some Arabian?

But look at them now? They were quarelling over some very tiny matter...All a misunderstanding. Leong trying to pacify both of them. This was them at about 1am...





Then it was the beer drinking competition. This time it was the couple drinking. Leong wanted to ask me go up with him to join but in the end by the time he smokes finish, they had already started the competition.

Then I met my OG, Ocean 24 and took a photo with Chong Hao aka Shadow. He is my polymate too...

The nurse-Serene, doctor-Lim Yew Teck and his real patient, Boon. Boon is really injured. His ligament ankle was hurt while playing captain's ball. He was at the bash with a bandaged leg. Serene was there with a bandaged finger too.

The best costume competition. From right-to-left: Gymnast, flight stewardess, Nun, Japanese waitress at authentic Japanese restaurant???, an army female trainer, a female magician, french maid, female Kickboxer, construction worker and surgeon. In the end, the best costume goes to Nun, Japanese girl and kickboxer.

I drank two glasses of Vodka Sprite using the two free complimentary drinks they gave. They said there was no Vodka Lime. I went to the dance floor to dance with the council people at around 1+am. More and more councillors came in to join us in the dance floor. Jonathan and Teck were even stripped of their top by the guys and girls. Serene seemed to be rather high too but she did not drink any drop of alcohol at all that night. Angie was very high when she came over to dance with us. She was quite a nice person. Quite 'onz' like we always call our people. It was getting crowded and hotter as a result of the huge crowd coming onto the dance floor. I decided to leave with Wee Keong at 2.30am. And I took my last photo with Zoe before I leave...


I had to leave cause I had church on Sunday and I dun mind missing the service if it weren't for my duty to teach in the whole month of August. So in the end, I slept less than 4 hours cause I was tossing and turning and couldn't get myself to sleep much. Overall I enjoyed all the dancing and drinking and taking photos of pple ard just like reporters or paparazzi. But I gotta apologise for neglecting my friend Meiling who left at 10+ cause she gotta meet her bf. She came to accompany me too for the bash but I did not even have time to stop by to hang out with her. I was busy running around and watching the pageant. Good thing Nicholas was around. She can entertain him at the same time.
