Yesterday was RMIT's Sports Day again and this semester I participated in Captain's Ball. Last two sems I was there helping out as IC for Captain's Ball or as referee, this semester, I was there as a participant. Brings a different kind of feeling. My OG, G6 wanted to join and had not enough people so they asked if I wanna join them as a team so I obliged. In the end, Weili, Leong, Boon, Janet, Serene and me formed a team. We last minute got Melvin to joined us in as a reserve. It was really fun doing a litte sports. It's been ages since I exercised. I am not an atheletic kind of person. I never liked playing sports knowing that I am not good in it at all but I used to enjoy playing basketball in secondary school PE lessons even knowing that I sucked at it. At least I may be a better player at sports than my sister. Think it runs in the family. Neither my dad or my mum is godo at sports. But at least I've seen my mum and dad played badminton. But when it comes to ball-related sports, dun think they could handle well. My mum knows how to play bowling too. Cannot really tell actually that she is better than my dad. Haha...Like last year's Christmas, we decided to have BBQ during Christmas since two years ago at my grandparent's house downstairs. There is a nice park area with BBQ pits around at the Choa Chu Kang area. My cousin just brought basketball from home and they started playing with my other cousins. Then my sister's bf went over to play too. And my mum and dad and aunties all went over to play. At least I was better than my sister, auntie and mum. Really a fun get-together with family.

Back to Sports Day, we wanted to at least aim for a 3rd place when we heard there were 5 teams instead of the initial 8 teams playing. So they played the league system aka Round Robin. We draw lots and I picked card Ace which is team 1 to go first. Our first team to compete was a strong opponent. We lost the first half by 6 points then overall lost about 7 points. They defeated all 4 teams and won the last round being the overall champion. We got the fourth place. We were vying for the 3rd, 4th place. At our 3rd game, the initial half we had two casualties in our team. Boon had sprained his ankle and Serene had fell and sprained one of her fingers. This was the first time in captain's ball that there were so many injuries before. In captain's ball, there never had anyone injure themselves before except in soccer. So our two members were down. Melvin came in to play and Jonathan offered to come in to play for Boon. Three girls are supposed to be on court but the referees agreed to let us carry on without a girl less. We still lost the team, they were quite violent and strong. In our last round, I managed to rope in Michelle to help us play as she had already finished her duty there. She reluctantly joined but i really thank her for helping us. I played for the first half before Serene decided to come in again to be the catcher despite of her sprained finger. It was really a great team we had! I gotta thank Jonathan and Michelle for helping us play in our team at the last minute. Unfortunately we did not win the 3rd place. We managed to win one team out of the four teams at least. After that, we went to NUS Business School to have something to eat. We all sat in Teck's van and drove over to the canteen there. We had western food and it was super cheap....

I suffered a blister on my bottom part of my toe. It was so pain yesterday but glad that it is better today otherwise I will have difficulty fgoing clubbing at tomorrow's RMIT Bash at DXO. Theme is Worker's Party so we're supposed to dress as professionals occupation uniform or look but I cannot be bothered anyway. I am no longer in council anyway. I'll just go there dress normal and say I can be a teacher, a model or a paparazzi cause I'll be holding my camera around taking photos of different costumes there and then will upload on my blog. Haha...
