Hey peeps, sorry I haven't been updating my blog lately. Missed me? I guess not. But it's been two weeks since my last entry. Well, been busy past few weeks and there is nothing much for me to blog much about. Well, I finally resigned from my current part-time job. Why people may ask? I said part-time so it means I dun get to work 5 days a week and 20 days a month. Read my past entries. Anyway, I tendered my resignation on Tuesday and I will officially leave on 11th Oct. Another reason people may ask is that why not find a job first before quitting? Well, the reason is because I'm being tied down and bonded by a contract which requires me to give a month's notice before leaving my job, thus this is my obstacle in looking for jobs which requires immediate positions to be filled and also companies to consider hiring me. The sad thing is, I am still not able to get any interviews after I've submitted my resume which says Availablity period is 1 week or after 1st Oct onwards. I have recommended my three friends for my position. All are full-time students in SIM so who wouldn't like my job with good pay and part-time job which only need to work only 10 days a month. Vanessa and Lynn are one of the two candidates whom I got to know them after I worked in P&G. They came in the same time as me and on my first day I got to know them. Then I realised they were from SIM. Vanessa's my senior who is in RMIT BBM's Sem 5 and Lynn is in UOL in 2nd year of studies. Well, the other friend is Grace, my very first clique I got to know in SIM. But the weird thing is, only Vanessa was called for the interview from what I know (perhaps the other candidates were others) and she managed to get thru the interview and got my job. She will be coming in to be trained under me on Thursday and will take about a week where after thart I can anytime leave my job early if I managed to find another job. I just have this bad feeling that it is harder for me to find suitable job now of my interest than before when I was being bonded by the contract. I haven't been called for interview since the last one on 6th Sept. And agencies who sent my resumes to the companies hiring hasn't even get back to me on any news for interview. Sadz....

I may have to work till 11th Oct in the end. On the 12th, I'll be gone to HK and coming back on the 16th. Then I may be officially jobless on 17th onwards. What's more I'll be super broke at that time. and just have to wait and look forward to Oct 25th where my agency will bank in my last pay of October with Sept's OT pay with P&G. So I really do hope I'll get to get a job soon....

Friday was a friends' night out for me and two other guy friends. We met up for dinner in Jack's Place and then we headed to Taka's Kinokuniya to digest our dinner. We were so stuffed. Then we proceeded to KTV session at Party World. It was full, there was a queue at the counter but we got a room soon enough just beside the counter and open lounge where there were 3 tables already filled with people singing. We had to compete the sound and voice level with the outside from our room. I sang new songs from F.I.R, Jolin & David Tao, jay Chou & Fei Yu Chin (I had to sing the Fei Yu Chin part in female voice...heh heh), Rainie's, Fan Fan, Joey Yung, etc. (there were some new duets I wanted to sing with but my this group of guy friends are always not updated with Chinese music cause they are "ang-mohs" get what I mean?) So fun getting to sing all these new songs. Too bad I couldn't try out singing the duets like F.I.R's, Joey & Luo Zhi Xiang. I missed my OG cause they were my KTV kakis in SIM. We went out KTV twice before. Din get to sing a lot of songs I had already put in the queue cause we paid for the 3-hr package only. It was insufficient afterwards we realised. Our total bill was $87, gosh, Friday nights in town area at Party World is so expensive but it is still cheaper than K-Box compared.
