Now that I've started the working life, I have come to realise how beautiful Saturdays are. I can only sleep late on Saturdays cause I will still need to wake up early for morning church service on Sundays too. Anyway, I won't be enjoying my weekends this week too cause I have a Sunday School excursion on Saturday morning. I need to be in church by 7am as my level is in chrage of organising the Sunday School Excursion.

Anyway, on Saturday I met up with Mingli in Orchard to go shopping for that dress I saw in a magazine. I was captivated by the dress. We were supposed to meet at 1.30pm then we changed to 2pm. But when I was about to leave and enter the lift, the rain started. I was stuck at the bus stop for about 15 mins before I decided to go back to get a umbrella as I know Orchard will surely be raining too. I had wanted to catch a cab but it was the peak period when there was rain, so I went home and called a cab. All the lines were busy and I had to wait on hold for approximately 10 mins in whole. It took me 1 and a half hr to reach Orchard which I dun wanna talk about it anymore. My heart ached when I saw that rate. Anyway, in the end, my friend waited for me till about 3.45pm when I reached Orchard. So we headed down to grab a quick bite as lunch hr is almost over. I was supposed to treat Mingli lunch at the Central Chinese Restaurant in Taka but instead we went for dinner. We walked over to Cineleisure to get movie tickets. She wanted to watch a horror movie. I suggested The Covenant as I wanted to watch that. We had wanted The Grudge 2 but we both did not watch part 1 so no point watching Part 2. She saw the poster of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and she decided on that. I told her it is super gross and if u wanna compare, The Covenant is M18 while this is R21. I told her it is not really horror but more of killing scenes. We dared ourselves to watch that anyway.

We walked to The Heeren as that is where the dress I wanted to buy was at. To my disappointment, it has already been sold out even before the magazine was published. So hot-selling. I was so disappointed. Still, I was very stubborn and I must get that dress so I thought of the idea to custom-made it instead. I can be very rash at times I know...I decided to go People's Park to buy the cloth on Sunday. We watched the movie and my friend regreted watching the movie. The killing scenes were horrendous. I was like, "What kind of movie is this? This is sick lor!" The ending seems like it'd have a second story in it. BUt anyway this was the beginning story. So I think that is where the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre came out previously was the sequel to this. They decided to make a prequel to the previous movie. I did not watch the old film but perhaps the killer was arrested or killed. I would rather watch Saw. I watched Saw 1 & 2 and I'm surely gonna watch Saw 3. At least Saw storyline is good and really had a great storyline. Initially I thought Saw was gruesome enough. But Texas Massacre was the only movie that made me did not dare to look directly at a few scenes when the chainsaw was sawing through the person's body alive.

On Sunday, I went with my Mum to People Park's Complex next to OG People's Park as she used to buy cloths there and sew clothes for us and herself when we were younger. Thus, it is always better to bring the expert there. We took less than half an hour there. In the end, I decided on buying the chiffon for the outer layer and a linen cotton for the inner layer. My mum will decide if she is free to sew for me. I intend to wear it for Xmas eve. Hopefully, she is willing to sew for me then at least she is able to alter for me up to what I expected. The original dress was $59.90. I bought the two cloths in total for only $15.60 which is less than half the price. Hopefully it'd turn out good as what I had expected...
