My parents and brother are away on holiday to Malaysia so my sister and I are all left alone in Singapore. This was the first time I had to find activities on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Spent money on leisure, dinner and entertainment again for 3 days. On Friday, I organised a KTV outing with Boon, Leong, Weili, Serene, Janet, Weijie, Teck and Melvin. We had a quick and simple dinner at Food Republic then we walk over to Party World. Boon had already made reservations for 8pm slot for 8 pax room. We each paid $17 in the end for 4-hour package. Serene, Weijie and Melvin da bao dinner to eat in the ktv. We had a fun time together. I reached home at about 12.45am. My sister went over to her fiance's house to stay overnight so I have the house all to myself.

On saturday, I meet up with Ivan to watch movie at VivoCity. He had a free movie voucher so we decided to watch Deja Vu. The ticket queue was super long. It took us about half an hour to queue. We got the 9.20pm time slot and the seats we got were 4th row from the front. The movie was rather good. The storyline needed us to think ahead and figure out what happened. Before the movie, we had a nice dinner at a Japanese Grill Restaurant and Ivan paid for the dinner as my Christmas gift. My first time eating that for dinner. It is served on a stick like Yakitori (grill & BBQ) type and I tried like Shitake with Stuffed Chicken meat, scallops, golden mushrooms with beef wrap, black pepper yakitori and deep fried octopus and there could be one more item which I could not remember all the dishes I ordered. It comes in a stick of 3 meat on a stick. After that, we walked around then took about 10 mins to dine in at Haagen Daz. We realised we only had about 10 mins before the movie starts so we had to change from the initial wafer ice-cream to a 2-scoop ice-cream. The theatres screen at VivoCity was super huge and tall so we had to strain our eyes at the near distance at such a huge screen.

On Sunday, I met Mingli at Somerset MRT to watch Happy Feet and go Xmas shopping. When I met her, it was already 1pm and after we bought the tickets, (we went for the M1 1-for-1 special) we went for lunch at Pastamania at Cineleisure. I had Hawaiian Pizza. I shall hang that on my next new hp. Then we went to Heeren to shop a while for her stuffs then we went to Paragon a while to go to Aussino. I wanted to buy bedsheet for my grandparents and a keypouch and coinpouch for my dad. Then we went to watch Happy Feet. I did not expect the movie to be that long. It was almost two hours for an animated film like this. Then we went down to OG Orchard and I bought my two things there. I forgot to get the gift wrap home. I was saying my mum how could she forget twice to collect the gift-wrap and now it's my turn. Anyway, after that, Mingli was so nice to accompany me to Taka for dinner at Central Hong Kong Cafe. She was supposed to go home at 7pm for dinner. Thanks gal!

I cannot believe in less than a week's time, my auntie and cousin will be coming to Singapore from Melbourne. Then a week later, her husband and son will be coming too. They will be spending the Xmas and New Year over in Singapore. My aunties and me have planned when to take leave. Too bad I could not take much leave so I took leave on 3rd Jan and my company will be closed from 26th to 29th Dec. My boss hasn't approve my new leave yet. It is more of a off-in-lieu leave to make up for the Deepavali Monday. She hasn't been in the office much. I haven't seen her for almost a month now. She is always on site. My cousins are Australian-Chinese as my auntie had married an Australian. You may have seen her pic on my blog here on top where the scrolling photos are. She's the caucasian mixed look I took with her. She used to be so cute and pretty now I'm not sure if she has changed in terms of character and personality. She used to be quite spoilt and all. Now she has grown up.
