It has been raining these days and I shall talk about from the day of Xmas Eve till today. I will also have photos to upload here. Haven't been posting much photos eh? And I not only have photos uploaded here, I also have videos uploaded. Well, here they are...

24th Dec is Christmas Eve and as it falls on a Sunday, Sunday Service is as per normal. I had to bring my Xmas Gift Exchange for Teachers to church. We had to buy a gift of $20 to the teacher we draw lots from and I picked on Catherine. I got her a Body Shop gift worth $29.90 but it had a 15% off so I got it for $23+. But all I got was a lousy gift meant for decorative purposes. After the gift exchange, my family went to Prima Restaurant near VivoCity. We were one of the first to reach after Aunty Maggie's family. We had a dim sum lunch so as to welcome Aunty Berlyn's family from Melbourne. We haven't seen them for about 3-4 years but Aunty Berlyn was here last few months ago to visit my grandfather when he was hospitalised for surgery for his cancer. When their family arrived, the kids, Amelia and Stewart became like the stars there. Everyone grabbed them to take photos. As we seldom get to see them. I was one of them.

My sister and future brother-in-law, Chris...We were discussing on how I should address him in future cause I call him Chris now and call her Jiejie so shld I call Chris Korkor? Hmm, we were saying good thing we do not call in Chinese otherwise I call my sister as 姐姐 then naturally he'll be called as 姐夫.

After the lunch, all of them headed to VivoCity shopping while my parents and I headed home. I needed to be in church by 8pm for rehearsals before the Candlelight Service starts at 9pm. After dressing up and make-up, I took a photo with my new dress.




How is my dress? Nice? My mum managed to finish on time for me within 3 weeks. Thanks Mum! I love you! Everyone was like praising her skills and that it doesn't seemed to look like it is tailor-made by my Mum. This was the finished dress I was referring to few entries ago. The one I could not managed to get the dress at the shop itself. I looked a little fat in the elastic part there so I am trying to lose weight. Yeap, I'm fat.


I took few more photos in church using Kailin's camera. So I will post it up here one I got the photos...I exchanged gifts with my church friends then we made plans to head to Coffee Club at Clarke Quay after service. Jo had booked a table for us there so we managed to get a seat meant for more than 6 pple there. So cool. I did not even know there was a Coffee Club there. It is a newly opened cafe behind M.O.S. Our table were facing the window where the taxi stand was so we could really see all sorts of people waiting for cab after 2am. We played Mind Hunt 2 board game till 3am. Imagine us having to rack our brains to think at such games at 12.30am till 3am. It was fun though. Jo accompanied me to Fullerton Hotel to hail a cab. We managed to get a cab soon. I was lucky the cab driver was willing to pick me up as one last passenger as he was about to knock off soon. All thanks to me being a girl....Heh heh

I reached home at 4am and woke up at almost 11am on Christmas Day. We went to my grandparent's house as usual on every Christmas Day at around 1.30pm and had Bee Hoon and Curry Chicken there. I love my grandma's Curry Chicken though I dun really take spicy food or Curry outside but I love home-cooked curry. This time the curry was rather spicy but it was rather bearable for me just by gulping more cold water. Then the kids who were already there already started playing UNO Stacko in the room.

There's Amelia and me too again...I deliberately wore my dress today too and brought another set of lothes to change for the BBQ later cause my relatives wanted to see my mum's workmanship. So I was the model. Everyone was so impressed with my mum's workmanship especially Aunty Berlyn. My mum will be making Amelia's flower girl dress. Actually she will be my sister's ring-bearer at her wedding...

Before that, we have something different this year, we sang Christmas carols and we have an amateur guitarist, Jerome to play the carols for us...

I received a few surprised presents from auntie and cousins...So touched...Haha. After that, we proceeded downstairs to the BBQ pit to start the fire. We started the fire at about 4.30pm. We had a fun time eating. This year, we had forgot to buy some food like cuttlefish (sotong), hotdogs and crabsticks...

After a full dinner, it is time for some exercise to burn off those calories...Well, this year I did not participated in the basketball game at all...


There's my auntie-in-law who went for classes for Line Dancing so there she was practicing and teaching my other aunties to dance and burn all those oily and unhealthy food we just eaten...


I shall continue with Part 2 of my blog soon where the Post-Christmas activities of where I went today shall be revealed....I am rather packed with acitivites to hang out with Aunty Berlyn and her family this whole week and perhaps next so I will always be out...COMING SOON!!!
