After Christmas will be Post-Christmas activities I spend from Tuesday onwards till yesterday. I was kept busy this whole week. All my time were kept and spent with Aunty Berlyn and her family. On Tuesday, I went to watch The Nativity Story with Aunty Linda. Finally I watched it yeap. Christians must definitely watch it. Quite a touching show. There were quite a lot of people watching it too. We had to watch the 7.25pm show cause there were only two theatres showing and Suntec had only one timeslot. We went to dinner at Ichiban Boshi and Aunty Linda treated me.

Wednesday, 27-Dec-06
On Wednesday, we decided to go to Escape Themepark as it seemed a fine day. It was cloudy and may have showers in the afternoon but still we decided to still carry on with our initial plan. We reached Escape Themepark it was almost 2pm. We had lunch at White Sands Food Joint first before heading to Escape Themepark. My sister also took half day leave to join us at Escape. There was a promotion so the entrance was not only only $6 till 4 Jan it gave us free coupons to a free game and free ice-cream and free snack. And it had a $6 off for next visit. The first ride we had was the Rainbow ride. It has a capacity of 36 people on one ride so we had our turn rather fast. My sister haven't been to a themepark for many years
so it was rather scary ride for her at first. She was quite timid at taking rides. She was screaming at this ride. But after when the ride finished, she said that it was rather fun and she didn't mind going again. We went to the Haunted House next. It was a walk through where Haunted Ghosts or Hell creatures will be in it. I went in the second group as I wanted to see my sister's expression. She was rather scared as she dunno what kind of scary things will suddenly appear. She seldom liked to watch horror movies as a result. So I offered to walk in front of everyone. I walked through the first room and suddenly I heard my sister screaming at the back. I turned back to see I saw a Sadako crawling at the bottom. I found it weird as to why the screaming lasted for so long then my mum said it was actually a human. They deliberately hid there and wait for any scared people like my sister around to scare them off. MY sister got so scared that she ran out from the entrance again. We continued the walkthrough and got out from another exit. We were laughing at my sister's cowardness. She had an umbrella, she had initially felt like hitting the head with her umbrella when it almost tried to grab her leg.

The next ride we went was the Family Coaster Ride. The ride was nothing at all to adults like us. I sat with Stewart and he felt it was boring. Next we wanted to go for the Wet N' Wild but when we were in the queue, it started to drizzle then it got heavier with lighting so they stopped the rides and we chicken out looking at how wet we will get. Then everyone rushed for shelter so there was a long queue at the snacks and ice-cream corner. We got our free ice-cream. Amelia and Perpetua went for the kiddy ride where they can shoot water with the water guns at people. There was a queue there but each ride was rather long. After the rain subsided, we went to queue for the Pirate Ship aka The Viking. It was rather miniature compared to Asian Village. My sister had sat one in Asian Village before and it was much bigger and scarrier. She was forced to sit right at the back and she cried at the end as she was rather young at that time. Kristin and I wanted the back seats. Unfortunately it was closed so only left the second back seats onwards, but it was all taken so we sat right near to the centre. My sister was rather scared so I told her to scream out and I'll scream with her. It was really less scary sitting in the middle.

Aunty Linda missed sitting the ride cause she had to watch the other two kids. So after the ride has finished, Amelia, Stewart, my sister and my brother went to queue for the Wet N' Wild ride while Kristin and I went for the Viking again with Aunty Linda. We sat all the way to the second last. This time I was less scared in taking Viking cause I used to close my eyes and scream when the ship was going down, this time I opened my eyes all the way. As I grew older I beome less scared of such rides.

I was surprised my sister dared to accompany the kids to get wet as she had chickened out earlier. As we were watching and waiting for their turn, the sky got darker and we were hoping that they would get their turn before they suspend the rides. INdeed it started to drizzle and they were on the ride. It started to get heavier and got much heavier than previously. We got our brollys out and I managed to snap shots of them coming down but it was rather blur cause the speed was fast and my hand shook a little, I had to take without flash.




There's my sister...It was pouring heavily so she was thoroughly wet by the rain and ride...


We had to run for the shelter. Good thing all of us brought umbrellas so we were well-prepared. We started using the game coupons and played games. Then seeing the rain is starting to subside, we decided to go for one last ride - Go-Kart. We must at least play that before we go home. So we queued there. It took us almost one hour before the ride opened and we got to our turn. After the ride, Kristin and I went to our last ride The Rainbow. My sister tagged along so I sat with her fearing she may be scared. But she laughing and screaming for fun. Then my mum, my brother and Perpetua went to queue another time, seeing there wasn't any queue at all, the three of us went again. I sat with Kristin again in the front row this time. It was fun cause the speed was rather fast moving. It was like taking ferris wheel. People with fear for heights definitely cannot take this ride. Anyway, my dad came to pick us up so my family left first. We then went to Jalan Kayu to have Roti Prata for dinner.

Thursday, 28-Dec-06
On Thursday, we went to Orchid Country Club to play bowling. It was raining the whole day that day too. We booked two lanes, one was for the kids game where the barrier in the drain will be up and the other is the professional game. So no matter how you play, your ball will never be in the drain. Kristin and I played only a game then we went downstairs to play pool. Pool is still my forte though I ain't that good. I even taught Kristin how to aim and hit side balls into pockets. She picked up fast and she learn fast. She managed to pick up what I taught her. We played for about an hour and a half before we headed back to the bowling alley. Then we had dinner at the cafeteria there. My arms ached the next day cause I have never played bowling or pool in a long time.

Friday, 29-Dec-06
As it was a fine and sunny day in the morning, we had already agreed on going to Sentosa. We went for lunch at the Hawker Centre at HarbourFront Bus Terminal while waiting for the others to come. My aunties and grandparents are very late. We boarded up the Sentosa Bus when they arrived. We took the Yellow Line Bus to Palawan Beach. I took my cousins all to the beach while the others went to Koufu Food Court to have their lunch. Amelia had already changed into her swim wear ready to enter the sea. Photos coming...

Then Aunty Maggie brought Felicia and Perpetua across to the other side to join us too...

I suddenly thought of the same time in Sentosa when Aunty Berlyn came with the family three years ago.


Look at how much all of us have changed our looks? I did not changed much. But my cousins sure all did. All look so young that time...Except Kelvin did not came this time.


Then we headed to the Luge and Skylift rides. I joined with Aunty Maggie's family and took the Family Package as Felicia was 12 years old. So we each paid $10 and can have 2 rides each. We took the skylift up. It was my first time taking the chairlift. The view and wind was great. I managed to took photos while I was up there....

We must wear the helmets to take the luge. There was a long queue for the luge. For first-timers, we need to be given instructions on how to control the luge so we need to go through the instructors so when we pass, they will chop on our hands and let us go. Because we are not taking only once so we will need the chop. When we go for the second time, we will have the "licence" to ride so we need not queue. At the second time, I was leading so I was going very fast, at one of the turn, I almost tip over. If I had not used my hand to stop I may have tip on one side so my fingers were a little scratched but it was nothing. It was still fun to ride.




I turned back and Aunty Linda, Grandpa and two cousins were at the next skylift. It was so shaky that that was the best I could managed to take them. Grandpa had his first try and did not have enough so he still continued with the second time. It was really fun that "once is never enough" just like their slogan says...It is indeed proven

We had initially wanted to catch the musical fountain so we take away Subway sandwiches for dinner. But when we reached there, the place was so super packed and too late. The show had just started so we turned back and went to the back part of the fountain area and sat there to eat.

I promised more pictures from Christmas Eve. Just gotten it from Kailin who brought her camera that day. Actually I brought too but I left it with my mum to bring home in the end...



We looked great together...From left: Kailin, Me, Rachel and Mabel and they are all younger than me. Especially Mabel, she's only 18...



Kailin and me...She was my first friend from church cause her mother was my auntie's best friend so my sister and I will sometimes tag along with my auntie to meet them for gatherings for Christmas and all. My auntie is single so having two nieces around will accompany the other kids too. I went to church at about 5 or 6 years old.



Mabel...I only got to know her formally thru my church pals in the recent years...



My childhood guy pal, Josiah, we call him Jo. The Mr. Nice guy who is always there for everyone who needs him to be around.
