Some experiences gained through this trip was flight delays. Yeap I experienced flight delays twice and on day of departure from Changi to Pudong Airport, they delayed the flight to Dalian for 4 hours. We sat and airport for 4 hours doing nothing but sit around and walk or take photos. Then on day of leaving from Harbin Airport to Pudong transit, our flight had to last minute delay for an hour plus. So in the end, our transit flight was around 30 mins before our next flight to Singapore. We sat and ate their local instant cup noodles.

Second experience gained was of course getting to experience, see and feel snowflakes for once in our lives. The flakes are really those shapes we see in cartoons, they even have different shapes like stars. We get to experience heavier snowing in Harbin morning and we were so excited like kids.

Third experience was having to relieve myself in unexpected situations twice. Once was a toilet area built with no proper cubicles and a main door in it. Just an area space and pick your spot in there. It was separated from Male and Female. So at least I had my own family members helping to guard off from outside like door while we took turns relieving ourselves. We were like laughing all the way while doing it. And our second time was while we are on our way to Harbin on a 6 hours long bus ride journey. I was sick that day, down with flu and yet didn't dare to drink much water as there was only one toilet stop along the way and after that, the only time stopped was petrol kiosk and driver had to pump fuel. Our tour guide went to check the toilet and say there isn't any toilet there so she suggested and taught us how to use the umbrella while relieving ourselves. So we took turns and went and found a corner behind the petrol kiosk office. We can't even be bothered if there were camera looking thru. Did I mentioned it was also snowing at that time and around -20 degree celsius? We had to relieve ourselves in the cold...What an experience! That is the reason why I refused to go to China even every year, my parents and brother will go at least once to China to different places. I chose to stay in Singapore instead thinking of the toilet conditions...If they are planning for one again end of this year to Zhang Jia Jie (the place featured in Avatar), I wont tag along...
