In the not-too-distant future, the ageing gene has been switched off at the age of 25. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. A poor young man, Will Salas (Justin Timberlake) lives minute-to-minute, until a windfall of time gives him access to the world of the wealthy. He is accused of murder when he inherits a fortune of time from a dead upper class man, though too late to help his mother from dying. He ends up on the run from a corrupt police force known as 'time keepers'. There, he teams up with a beautiful young heiress (Amanda Seyfried) to destroy the corrupt system.

I've watched two of Justin Timberlake's movies and Bad Teacher was a flop. This was a good movie. The storyline and plot is interesting in a way that proves a point: not money can buy everything but time does. Everything is protrayed using time. Even a bank vault or lending shop is giving time on top of the interest rates for paying back in time. A gantry to enter an area can be worth 1-2 months of your time. Buying a cup of coffee takes off 2 hours of your time. We drink coffee  to keep us awake for few hours, here in this movie, people are afraid to sleep as it takes away their time. this movie also proves that the rich people is staying in different areas have longer time means longer life span. I find the plot is interesting and different in a way. I had thought my dad would fall asleep in the cinema as I expected such storyline and plot isn't for him. Our initial choice was The Three Musketeers but eventually we chose this. The people in the story can look like they are 25 but they are actually already 105 years old for the upper class people. They go to casinos and gamble their time away. Of course, people dies when the time on your watch turns to '0' and there are 13 digits of '0' (0000 000 000 000) like that. Which means hundreds, days, hours to minutes and seconds. A must watch movie after Real Steel. Reviews ain't that bad for my point of view. At least four of us think it's good and not too bad.
