It's been sometime since I last blog. the week has passed and Christmas is finally here. I spent my whole saturday doing mani and pedi at my usual package place and then went home and get ready for the church candlelight service. I had to be in church earlier for the chorale rehearsal. After the service, I joined my sis and her friend to her house for a round of monopoly and Taboo. We headed for supper at McDonald's first before heading to my sis's house. It was raining and eventually, we reached my sis's house at around 12am. After we settled down, we started playing at around 1am and Chris wanted to play Monopoly. We agreed that when all four of us ended up in jail at least once, we'll end the game. Cheryl, Chris and myself went to jail practically almost 3 times, while my sister hasn't even gotten to jail once. We found out lots of character from playing this game. It was a game of honesty and integrity. Haha...we often have to keep mum when someone else landed on someone's property. Initially I had like the most cash and most property bought. I got second in total winnings while Cheryl had the least property, she had the most cash that was able to emerged as winner from the game and it was all thanks to her Queen Astrid Park and MRT station rentals.

We then moved on to a short round of Taboo at around 2am and Cheryl and Chris both were almost tired and dozing off while my sister and I seemed to be more energetic. We only managed to sleep at 3.30am after they sent Cheryl home while I get to stayover at their house overnight. Chris had to give up his side of the bed with my sis while he slept in the study room floor in a sleeping bag with Pork chop right beside him. We couldn't even wake up for church service today at 9am. But my sis and Chris went for the 11am Chinese service and they dropped me off in church and I got on with my parents to IMM for lunch and did some grocery shopping. We then headed home to get the food for the BBQ while I had a change of clothes before we drove to my grandparents' house. When we arrived there, I played with my cousin's daughter, Cheryl. It was the first time I get to see her since her birth. It's been almost a month so I carried her in my arms. It feels so good to carry a baby in my arms. I don't recall carrying any young baby. Maybe I did remember carrying my cousin, Kristin before when she was a baby and a kid. Cheryl's so chubby and adorable. She's like the centre of attention of everyone. She had the most number of presents too. I bought my first xmas gift to my niece though. I have niece and nephews from paternal side but I ain't close with them or don't even get or seldom get to see them, so that explains the lack of bonding.

I want to wish everyone a Blessed Merry Christmas and a happy New Year ahead! Though I know that 2011 hasn't and wasn't a good year for most people I know including myself, I believe 2012 should be a good year to look forward to.
