CNY Eve:
Went to work as usual. But everyone including myself are light-hearted that morning. We are in the holiday mood. Though I have things to do, Chinese staff can leave at 12.50pm. I even played pool for a while in the office. Yeap, we have pool and soccer game table behind my office area which is known as the Chill-out area. We can sing KTV there too as we have well equipped karaoke system with updated songs. Then I left office at 12.30pm and headed to Marina Square to meet Yiwei. I wanted to get that sling bag from Dorothy Perkins so I can carry it to KL on 2nd day of CNY. I love that bag. So I tried the Chashu Ramen at Waraku Japanese Restaurant. Finally get to try it cause there is always a long queue during dinnertime. There really is a wide variety of choices there and the prices are reasonable too.

I reached home at about 4pm and then went to my grandparent's house at 5.30pm. As usual, the dishes were the same but we did not have Lo Hei this time round. Then we went home to pack our bags for the trip to KL on 2nd day.

CNY Day 1:
We managed to take family photos together with a new family member this time - my brother-in-law. Too bad this was taken on film so I can't put up the photos here. Hopefully next year we'll have another new family member in the family too - a baby. Heh heh...


Next we headed to my grandparent's house, one of my uncle's family were there. I took a photo with my cousin, Perpetua. She is Miss Saigon....



Then I went to watch CJ7 with my dad and brother at Causeway Point. We had to sit the front row in the end. The theatre was small so the screen was very close to the first row as a result, our necks had to practically look upwards to the screen. I felt so uncomfortable at first but after when the movie started, I got used to it. After the movie, we went to McCafe a while to have a drink and some snacks then went back to my grandparent's house.

CNY Day 2:
I woke up at 5.45am and we left home at 6.45am for KL. We stopped by the McDonald's drive-thru at Taman Jurong before hitting the Tuas Checkpoint. My dad at an average of between 120 - 140km/h so we reached KL at 10am. My paternal grandma's place was our stop but we stay overnight at my auntie's apartment around the corner instead. The reason why we go back to KL every year during CNY is because my grandmother's bday falls on 3rd day of lunar new year. We usually go for dinner celebrations but this year, everywhere was fully booked so we went for international buffet lunch at Shangri-La Hotel instead.

Did not managed to take a lot of pictures of the foods but the dessert corner were good...

Went shopping at The Gardens and Mid Valley Megamall but did not managed to get anything there cause all the goods there are mostly branded and ain't cheap. The clothes and brands in F.O.S. sucks big time too. It used to carry Polo Ralph, Diesel and Abercrombie & Fitch, now they don't even have such brands. Only my uncle bought the most clothes there in the end.

CNY Day 3:
I reached Singapore in four hours time. I reached home at 2.30pm. Then I went out again for movie at 4pm to Orchard Cineleisure to catch Ah Long Pte Ltd. Had wanted to watch Kungfu Dunk but too bad, Yiwei have already watched it so we had to watch Ah Long. We only managed to get tickets for the 8pm time slot so we walked around then headed to Sushi Tei at Paragon for dinner.
