Lyrics

yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah

转载来自 ※ Mojim.com 魔镜歌词网
yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah

yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah

yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah
Oh~ yeah yeah

Finding a Way Back into Love

Adapted from Violet Lim - Lunch Actually website.

Hanging on to emotional baggage is one of the worst things you can do if you are looking for The Right One. It is also one of the things many singles are likely to do. What is emotional baggage?

There are lots of different ways to define it, but for our purposes we’re going to describe emotional baggage as those past experiences, feelings, emotions, and thoughts that linger in our minds and affect our current situation. These are the things that we carry around with us that end up creating difficulties in our current lives. In many cases, they actually can re-create themselves in a way that causes us to live them over again as if they were brand new.

The term “emotional baggage” has long been used to describe this situation, and it’s actually a very good term for this purpose because it creates the picture in our minds of physically hauling stuff around with us. It doesn’t take a great deal of imagination to picture yourself lugging a huge suitcase (or two, maybe three) at every step.

What’s in the suitcase? Whatever it is you’re not yet willing to let go. Maybe your emotional baggage is just like mine—the memory of a previous relationship where you thought you found The Right One but he turned out to be something else; or perhaps it’s a pattern of interaction from your past where you’ve not had very healthy relationships and you’re continuing with that pattern. Other things commonly found among our emotional baggage include fears, worries, disappointments, behaviour, dreams, fantasies, hurts, anger, and much more.

It is important to let go of emotional baggage for a number of reasons, chief among them being that it is the only way for you to be emotionally healthy and stable. The more baggage you carry with you, the less you are able to be emotionally strong, capable, and steady. Why? Because your time, energy and effort are consumed with that baggage, lifting it, carrying it, preserving it, looking through it, remembering it, living with it, and generally keeping it with you through all you other daily activities.

And when your entire focus (consciously or unconsciously) is on keeping that baggage with you, nothing else matters. Nothing else can break through and come into your life, and that includes The Right One.

If you doubt the impact of carrying emotional baggage around with you, try this little experiment.

Fill a handbag or briefcase with a few rocks or something else that’s heavy enough to make it challenging to carry around with you. Now carry that handbag with you everywhere you go for a full day. And I do mean everywhere. Carry it around the house, when you go shopping, as you run errands, as you work, as you drive, as you do absolutely everything.

It won’t take very long for you to get really tired of carrying this heavy handbag or briefcase around with you. And that’s exactly what it’s like to carry real emotional baggage around with you.

Once you let go of emotional baggage, though, everything changes. You feel lighter in a whole host of ways—physically, spiritually, and yes, emotionally. For many singles this feeling is something they have never experienced before and so they get a bit scared and maybe even start to pick up their baggage again. For others, though, the tremendous sense of freedom and liberation that comes from letting go is practically intoxicating and they never look back or even pause from then on.

There are no 100 per cent guaranteed ways to let go of emotional baggage because each person is different and each “bag of stuff” is different as well. There are a few excellent things you can do, though, to help you through this process and get you well on the road to being baggage-free.
  1. Let go of assumptions. Just because you have had a particular experience with a partner in the past, don’t assume you’re going to have the same kind of experience with other partners in the future. Start each day with a fresh and open mind, and especially let your mind be open when you meet a person who could potentially be someone you might date.
  2. Stop the loop. It’s easy to play the ‘loop’ of past experiences over and over again in your head, much like rewinding and playing a video over and over again. When your mind starts to play that loop , just press ‘stop’ and switch it off, even if you have to do this several times in a row.
  3. Don’t give up. Just because your past relationships haven’t worked out the way you wanted them to doesn’t mean future ones will be the same way, so don’t give up on dating or trying to find The Right One. You have to stick with it, no matter what.
  4. Break old patterns. When emotional baggage is rooted in past patterns of thought or behaviour, the best way to get rid of it is to break those old patterns. Start by identifying what your previous patterns have been, and then watch for signs of them in your current relationship behaviour. If you find a pattern starting to repeat itself, simply stop, take a deep breath, and make a different choice. Taking my case as an example, when I heard that my boyfriend went out for lunch with a group of female colleagues, and I could feel myself going crazy and wanted to accuse him of being interested in one of them, I took a deep breath, and instead asked him how it went, whether I knew them, and so on.
  5. Embrace vulnerability with protection. This might seem like odd advice because vulnerability and protection generally don’t go together. In the case of emotional baggage, though, they can indeed go together in a way that will help you in the long run. Remember to take care of yourself emotionally so that you stay healthy, but at the same time don’t ‘shut down’ your heart completely. Let yourself open up, even if it’s just a little bit, when you meet someone you really like. It’s that vulnerability that will allow you to create greater closeness in your new relationship.
The bottom line is, hanging on to emotional baggage might feel safe and secure to you, but it only seems that way. The reality is that the more you hang on to your ’stuff’, the more you carry it around and drag it around with you, the more it blocks you from finding The Right One and recognising him or her when he or she does actually come along.

The end of year 2011

It is coming to the end of the Year 2011 and I look back on the year. Lots of things happened this year. I started dating again in the 1st half of the year and though things din work out with one of them, I moved on and met another person which eventually getting into a relationship with him. But within half a year, the relationship also ended. I tried snorkelling and went on my first holiday with a dear friend to Bintan. Then I was promoted to Project Executive officially in November. Actually I didn't really achieved much though in between, I did experienced nice memories. My church pal got married this year. Went for my family trip to Australia for the first time. Managed to take the Safety Construction Course for Project Managers and passed it. Christmas is coming again and I feel as if I will be spending Xmas alone this year. My church friends don't seemed to be close with me this year much after my bday celebration. One of them is happily married, the other two are attached so they will have their own activites or friends outside. As for the other gal, she is single like me, but I guess might end up, she have her own plans too. I guess I'm left to spend with the older folks after candlelight service. I've come to realise why I don't have big group of close friends whom i can hang out with together so they will organise Xmas parties and all which I can join and know more people. Sometimes I do feel lonely and asked myself am I really that unfriendly? I never see myself having a partner or special person beside me celebrating special ocassions with me. Especially when I'm well-dressed on Xmas Eve.
Anyway, just few days ago, my best friend, Meiling was discussing with me on planning to go Phuket with me and two other guy friends whom i know initially. We had planned in february. But now plans has to be thrashed and they have to go ahead without me as they have planned to go in mid-January. It's actually the week before CNY and I thought air tickets will have increase prices. Anyway we were both excited as we get to travel on holiday by plane together. And they had asked another guy friend along this time who is a Christian. Too bad I doubt I'll be able to take leave in January as Jan has many holidays and I might have a project on hand which my boss will not let me take leave. I feel bad that I can't join her this time. She has been a good pal to me since primary school so we've known each other for 18 years and it's really not easy to keep in contact with a friend so long. I hope I'll have chance to travel with her by plane elsewhere. Though this time have 4 of us is new for me too. Cause I always travel with family and sometimes travelling with friends are so much better. I haven't tried travelling with my partner too, not sure when I'll have this chance though.

5 Signs He's Not Really Into You

How to tell if he's wasting your time.

There's a guy you totally fancy and whom you've been seeing for sometime. Yet there's something about him you can't put your finger on: He's kinda too busy with work, a tad too passive about your relationship, and not acting as besotted as he should be.

Or maybe he really isn't. It's a bitter pill to swallow, but better to know if he's wasting your time sooner rather than later. Here are five red flags that could confirm your doubts.

1. He's not trying to see you
Either he's the busiest guy on the planet or his sorry-I-got-to-work-on-weekends excuse is just that -- an excuse. How do you know for sure? Does he find time for his mates yet somehow not have time to meet up with you or talk on the phone? If the answer is yes, something is amiss. When it's always you who's doing the running, it's a clear indication that he's not all that committed to the relationship. "If a guy is into you, he will find time to make a call and catch up," says Lexi Proud, who is a dating expert for Arrange Me a Date.

2. You've not met his friends
It's not a good sign if he hasn't introduced you to his friends and family, especially after you have dated for some time. Just how long is too long to wait? Proud suggests asking questions if you've not met any of his friends by the three-month mark and if you've not met his family by six months. "If a guy is into you, generally they want you to meet their friends. After all, they should be proud to have you on their arm!"

3. He only sees you for sex
This is so painfully obvious that it's going to sound blunt. If this guy is only meeting up with you for a hook-up, he's only into your body, not you as a person. Get out, pronto.

4. He often lets you down
Does he frequently cancel plans you've made together because "something else" has cropped up? Be wary, especially if there's no reason for it, and if it's happening on a persistent basis -- it's a sure sign your relationship just isn't up there on his list of priorities.

5. He leaves you in doubt
Here's the simple universal truth about men: If a guy wants you, you'll know it. He won't leave you wondering about his behavior -- he'll call you, he'll ask you out, he'll want to be with you whenever he can. If all you get are lukewarm reactions from the guy, he's just not that into you. Period.

An Unexpected Greeting

I was about to leave for meeting outside and preparing some material samples to show client when I receive an incoming message on MSN from an unexpected person. My ex bf, Andre text me on MSN and asked how was I and I said still the same. And we started having normal conversations online. It's been such a long time we had normal conversations. I asked him how he is with his gf he said he's moved into her house and planning to get married next year. That sure is fast. I asked him how was his dad and sister and glad they are okay. I asked how he met his gf and he says they met at friends wedding in Oct and did not know that she liked him since and they started dating only last month and they are already living together. Wow that sure is fast. That was the wedding he attended during Hari Raya even though he was sick that day. Anyway I told him I hoped for the best of them both and congratulate him in advance. I told him happy that at least he found someone so hopefully his relationship will work this time...I was able to chat normally with him shows that I have really gotten over him. Just hope he'll really treat the girl well this time...

Now I just have to get over another person and treat him as a friend completely...

Same Phase in Life

I'm back to the same phase of my life and I have got to learn to let go of things. Let go of certain feelings attached to a person and that is never my ex. Someone has previously taken a place in my heart yet now I still have to let him go. Back to being friends will never have that same feelings back again. Perhaps it might few years time but the question is when and how. If we're not even having that chance now to know each other better, when is that going to take place? I am more open to knowing more people still but until I can completely not compare others with this person that I know, then I can completely let go and let my feelings to others. To me, he seemed to be perfect person I ever met, but yet once again, I am disappointed when things haven't even worked out. I do want to treat him as a friend but yet in parts of me, I treat him as an important friend that I will want to see something happen so I often keep him in my prayers. I know he's been busy and havent' been able to even meet up with his friends or family. I'm not hoping that he'll remember this friend he have said he'll want to keep in contact and continue seeing, I have learnt not to expect things from him. I have to pray to God to ask God to help me be a stronger person and grow up being a better person. Perhaps our personalities does really not match and we're just not meant to be with each other by God so I am trying to seek some answers slowly from God.

I guess I'm back to getting myself to start a new life once again and start knowing people though I know it won't be easy again to meet someone that can touch my heart. I will still keep looking for that person and pray for that person to appear in my life and try putting things behind of me....

A surprise message...

I was about to go out to a meeting at 3.45pm today when I received a incoming message on msn from a person unexpectedly. Andre actually text me to ask me if I want to go back to him. I didn’t answer his question and he was expecting an answer from me. I told him I thought he would have already found a gf le. Cuz my fren told me she thought she saw him with a girl. Just when I least unexpected and forgotten about my past relationship, he messages me. Yet I do not know what his intentions are in asking me that question in the 1st place. Does he really find it hard to let me go or he just don’t want to lose me? Anyway no point thinking since I never want to get back with him…

Graduates of 2008!!!

I was looking thru Facebook and managed to saw many similar pics taken on the same day of my friends - Convocation. I was happy seeing all my friends that I used to hanged out with managed to graduate this year. I managed to see the photos of their convocation of three different groups of friends of different batch.

This is my OG group. They were my juniors that time and I was their OGL with the two other people in this picture forms the 11 of us known as G6. That time was our best time ever. We spent a whole night till 6am in Sentosa for the Orientation. Had so much fun ever. But all 10 of them (5 not in robes even went for the other 5 convocation and I wasn't informed or invited for it). I probably know their intention perhaps they were afraid that I will feel green with envy seeing I could have been the ones in robes too, they probably did not want to hurt me or probably thought that I will not attend it anyway. But I will feel that I was part of G6 too if I was invited and I will definitely turn up even if I had to take half day leave because of it. I will definitely congratulate them and feel happy for them. I am not feeling sore about them not able to graduate with them or not inviting me but will actually think "Am I not part of G6? If the other are invited, how come I'm not?" I chose this path so I may regret that I'm unable to wear the robe now but I will feel happy for the others that at least they manage to complete their degree. Congratulations, Leong, Clar, Lina, Serene, Weili! You definitely did well! Though I was not there, I could feel all of your happiness so I'm really proud of ya all!

My 2nd group of clique I hanged out with because of Meiling and got to know Lina and Clarence thru G6 OG. The time with you all was short too but still I enjoyed knowing you guys was good...

My 1st batch of OG clique. When I entered RMIT, they were my OG group and we hanged out together for half a semester. Though the time was short, I'm still glad most of you managed to get your Bachelor's Degree.

The rest of them whom I knew through RMIT Student Council also graduated. I saw their photos from Facebook too. Being in Student Council was my best time in Uni life too. I really got to know lots of friends here and I got to open up myself to being more active and less shy in front of strangers when doing recruitment, promoting events and approaching people outside the canteen. Thanks to everyone! I definitely miss Uni life because of all these friends and things...
